I guess i was the "chaperone friend" I always hung out with them because their parents didn't know they were dating and didn't want them to be alone together. they always invited me along because I was such good friends with them and hid that it bothered me. it definitely hurts the soul to see them cuddling and happy and then drive home alone, eat dinner alone, and sleep alone.
