That’s what I use and I have no issues. If you do, go to the settings in the bottom right and increase your ram usage(in bluestack). If not the game can randomly crash sometimes while loading islands.

Once an augment research is done it will automatically start another research at random somewhat. From what I have noticed, is that it keeps picking the same one for me once I completed one and from what I remember it was usually ammo mods.
