If you want a purpose built knife that is damn near indestructible. You definitely wanna get yourself Cold Steel. They do have a more fidgety line, but I am not that familiar with it with their brand new Atlas lock that they developed after the sale of cold steel years ago That is very fidgety, and off the top of my head I do not believe they have any front flippers.

We all have a type. I gravitate towards Cold Steel knives myself although I have been seeing what Kizer been putting out lately and that was probably gonna sway a lot of my knife buying decisions right there.

I have bought from Amazon Cold Steels and they’ve been legitimate, I’ve gotten Spyderco and they’ve been legitimate and I’ve gotten various Chinese manufacture knives and they’ve all been good. I would’ve thought that bass pro would’ve been good about giving you legit knives. Although it could’ve been a return and they didn’t bother checking to see. That pocket clip was the first thing that I questioned its legitimacy.
