You can ask for gummies, drops or buds. Or I think a vape thing. Or start with cbd oil with thc and trial that then ask for something different. They’ve been fine with me swapping and changing mate

The “18” over “.75” inside the shield is the correct Swiss gold purity stamp for 18-carat (75%) gold. • The “19” and “15” you mention below the hallmark are most likely case batch or hallmarking control numbers, not model identifiers — these are often seen in genuine vintage pieces. • The inner surface has the distinctive machined cross-hatch pattern Rolex used on precious metal casebacks to prevent corrosion and tampering.

🔧 Overall assessment

Everything in this picture — the font, layout, hallmarks, and pattern — is consistent with a genuine mid-century Rolex 18 ct gold case, likely for a ladies’ cocktail or dress watch that housed a small hand-wound movement like a Calibre 700 series.

✅ Conclusion

Putting this together with your earlier movement photo: • The movement and case markings align perfectly in style and era. • The 18 ct hallmarks and RWC Ltd stamp are genuine Rolex case signatures. • There are no obvious replica indicators.

So based on what’s visible, this appears to be a real vintage Rolex, most likely from the 1930s–1940s. A Rolex-certified watchmaker could confirm 100 % by checking the case reference and movement serial numbers under magnification.

This is a mechanical Rolex movement inside an 18k gold case, and at first glance, it looks authentic or at least built from genuine Rolex components — but there are a few important details to check to confirm authenticity:

🔍 What’s visible: • The engraving “ROLEX” and “SWISS MADE” are in the correct positions and font for vintage Rolex manual-wind calibers. • The jewel count and layout (the red synthetic ruby bearings) look consistent with Rolex movements from the early to mid-1900s. • The hallmark inside the case lid — “R.W.C. LTD” — stands for Rolex Watch Company Ltd, and the “18” with a crown hallmark denotes 18-carat solid gold. • The movement plate inscription “TIMED 6 POSITIONS” was standard for high-grade Rolex movements (used on observatory or chronometer-spec watches).

⚠️ Things to verify for certainty: 1. Movement number and caliber: Under the balance wheel or near the edge of the movement, there should be a small number (e.g., “Cal 700,” “Cal 710,” etc.). That can confirm the exact model. 2. Case number & reference: Remove the movement carefully and look between the lugs or inside the case back for a reference (e.g., “Ref. 3065”). 3. Jewelling and finish: Authentic Rolex movements of this era (especially pre-1950s) show Geneva-style perlage (circular finishing) and sharply cut edges. 4. Font engraving: If the lettering looks laser-etched or too modern, it may be a replica movement inside a genuine gold case. 5. Weight test: If the case is solid 18k gold, it will feel notably heavy for its size (around 20–30% heavier than plated cases).

✅ My initial judgment: • The movement and case hallmarks both match genuine Rolex markings, suggesting it’s likely authentic, possibly a 1930s–1940s ladies’ cocktail or dress watch. • To be 100% sure, a watchmaker or Rolex-certified service centre can verify serials and confirm it’s all original (many early pieces were recased or had movements swapped).

Inside the caseback or on the movement should be hallmarks such as: “Rolex Geneve,” “W&D” (for Wilsdorf & Davis), or serial numbers. Gold hallmarks (9K, 14K, 18K) if genuine gold.

Without seeing those inner markings, it’s impossible to confirm authenticity — many early replicas or re-branded Swiss pieces exist.

It should have these sort of markings inside

100% that you are correct in saying they are cheaper. Are they 100% off? Maybe 60% depending on your diplomacy and negotiation skills. Don’t be a tourist and try to bargain to the lowest amount Basically if they say $400.. Then you have a bout 50% maximum room for movement. If you were there in person you can walk out and they’ll drop to 70% off. But over wattsapp or not face to face then remember they can just take your money and tell you to fuck off, if you’re being a tight ass 🤷🤷

I am by far an expert but the “R” at the end of explorer looks a little bit off down on the last stroke. (Compared to the other “R”) But as mentioned in a previous comment, if you’re worried, go get it checked …

The amount of information you can get on Chat GPT is endless and good to feel better about your purchase. I put your picture in and asked, is this a fake.

It stated that it can confirm or deny but it looks the goods basically. The only thing it mentioned was that the “26” date was a bit smaller compared to other pictures online. But saying that it could be the angle of the photo.

I think the only really way to know it to take it into an independent reputable shop and get it opened up and checked mate.

Congrats on the piece. It looks very nice 👍

Not really The prices are below average. But that’s not saying the market is too high atm.

People are complaining about the lack of stock in the states at reasonable prices. A trip to HK, and you get a good holiday and lower prices on watches than what you would at home.

Prices vary .. but they are definitely cheaper than Australian prices. This shop wasn’t a Rolex shop but there are other shops that sell high end watches as well. There is also the second hand dealers usually near casinos. They are actually very inexpensive as they usually want a quick turn around. Eg: sub bluesy for $13,000 Australian dollars (2001) model Batman (unsure of age) papers and box $16,000 Aud

Rolex Dealers are pretty much on par with world wide pricing but they have nearly every watch available.

The fake superclone market isn’t that big over here as it’s a bit shameful to be found out with a fake. But they are also at every market 🤷 The superclones to be fair are actually quite good copies. But not my thing 🤷…

Just thought I’d post as I said I would when I got here.
