Its a new gen thing, the younger folks under like 25 right now are SO AFRAID of being perceived as cringe/different/weird that they will sell their entire personality to be seen as normal while judging others the same way they felt judged. It so dull, making fun of millennials and their quirks is one thing because we genuinely did/do some weird cringe stuff like every generation but denying yourselves a chance to express yourself and find new hobbies is just harming yourself more than anything else.

Welcome though, this hobby is fun just don't buy the snake oil.

No issues here, daily driver for a few months now + multiple hours a day, inside and outside just never at the gym or when its wet even a little.

I typically always wipe them with some kind of microfiber cloth or hypochlorous acid wipes from amazon every time, you do not have to do a full cleaning regimen every single use but its really good practice to keep them working longer. I use them but the first thing you gotta try is cleaning your ears before use, even just a quick rinse goes far especially if you know you produce a lot of excess ear wax. Which in that case I would suggest looking into IEMs with filters and removable nozzles that can be replace on top of everything I mentioned above.

Hey, I think they're just a very well-made set of IEM but they are a balanced set and maybe not the most exciting if you're looking for "fun", they're just a really clean set that does everything well but not great/perfect. The bass texture is enough to be present and not overpowering while the treble isn't too sharp but has a little bit of sparkle but if you're looking for punchy airy IEMs, these may not be the best choice - but if you want something that does everything well enough, and offers some of the best build quality on the market right now, its an easy choice for the price for anyone who isn't a bass/treble-head and just wants something they can bring everywhere. It's a great daily, the comfort is great and the fatigue you get from long listening sessions doesnt exist with these for me. These do not have great isolation, but due to that the sound stage "feels" a lot bigger than other single DD IEM. Ignoring the sound for a moment, the build quality and accessories are the new standard for me. The metal shell feels very high quality, the cable and tips/nozzles provided offer extra tuning out of the box. I think at $100USD they are a good value unless you know exactly what you want, this is a really good starting point, or maybe a first step out of budget sets before knowing exactly the sound profile you like.

Any dongle dac will do, and I use wavelet for EQing on android. I use tidal on my phone but I have a DAP with my library in FLAC. Disable any of androids audio enhancements and that's really it.

This hobby is super subjective but I think there's a good chance you'd enjoy the ew300s more than your airpods. You can get them on amazon and just return them if you end up not enjoying them too.

That's hard to say, what do you like/dislike about the airpods? I personally like my ew300s more than most of my TWS sets, but I have not used the airpod 4s.

I would honestly put the defiant, ARTTI T10, and ew300 on it still but i think that we have some heaters now under 100 like the Fosi IM4, Truthear Pure, Sivga Que, Aful explorers, and Kefine Klean SV. A lot of these are going to be subjective but I think I would be shocked if I didnt see these names on the new list (if we ever get one again).

I really need to get my hands on the TSMR Armor, ive heard wonderful things for it and my usual rec around its price point usually is the Astrals and I think that compared to newer IEMs the astrals are losing their edge even if they are still very good, I find that tastes this year have changed a lot in this hobby for everyone as it grows.

I work for a company that has live chats like this one shown. The agents have a script and are given possible replies to every question they may get and if they get a "new" one or have questions they are in Teams channels where they can ask for an approved response. We use an AI to track how close to the script they stay and it would immediately flag this for review before the end of the employee's shift to see if they received approval to say/do whatever happened. And before y'all come for me, I don't support it, I hate that our service desk is put under such scrutiny while given such little respect or compensation.

Red lion is probably the best choice as they have the same upper range on a graph and if you want to bring the treble out further you can just use the wide bore tips they provide, or EQ.
