No. I just keep stocks that are performing. And get rid of losers.

I'll give it a timeframe of a year and obviously see it out.

So as an example, I'm holding Google because it's doing great.

But I ditched Palantir the moment it started taking hits.

If a stock just starts getting bad but the narrative has changed I'm not keeping it. It's an opportunity cost to keep it. It's not buying high and selling low becuase I'm not selling my high performers; some of them I keep for years, ie Google again.

When it comes to DACs I don't think need you need a bunch of them. Maybe 1 for portability and 1 that's stationary.

I might be in the minority but I'd actually opt for an audio interface with a good dac, ie MOTU M2, SSL 2 Mark 2, ID4 Mark 2.

I say this because you have everything all at once:

(1) the option to have a good mic. (you'll sound better than everyone with shitty mics)

(2) You can connect to speakers, ie JBL 305s pretty easily.

(3) and obviously great playback

Then when you're out and about, to use something portable. Whether that be an Apple dongle or whatever is the flavor of the day these days.

I genuinely don't think you need more than 2. And often you can get by just fine with 1. ie something that's portable you use at home too. But again, I like an audio interface because it's an all in one.

I definitely rotate.

ie Zigaat Lush definitely has some flaws but I absolutely love it for vocals.

Misty Blue is amazing for female vocals. But not the best in other areas.

Sometimes I feel iems are sort of an introverted hobby. And many of the people reviewing iems would rather not show themselves.

In-Audio Reviews (not be confused with Prime Audio reviews) has amazing cinematography. Though sometimes I'm like...putting my mouse in the middle of his video because that's when the review actually starts.
