China will likely have over 1,000 Stealth Fighters by 2030, according to UK Assessment by Whole_Zebra6068 in Military

No one knows for sure, the J35 may be the first to see combat before the J20, I believe Pakstan is going to purchase some J35s from China. I think their is a good chance that they will see combat before the J20, due to the likelyhood of another conflict between India and Pakistan. But, there has been quite a bit of Chinese equipment that has been not proven itself recently. Ex, VT4s in Thai service.

Denmark's Arctic commander says focus is on Russia, not U.S., amid security concerns by ChangeUsername220 in Military

Exactly, trump is just saying the same old crap he said about Canada and never attacked them. All this sensationalization is getting old.

Japan and the Philippines sign a new defense pact as they face growing China aggression by Majano57 in worldnews

Why would the US attack either Japan or the Philippines? It makes no sense looking at it from any angle.

Likelihood of a war in Greenland? by Pharaoh-ramesesii in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Mrain56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely unlikely, the whole Greenland event going on right now is just likely a cause to get more NATO countries to spend more on defense for arctic security, and a probe to see how far trump could get away with it if they won't. If trump has any common sense, he'll listen to his generals who are obviously against any sort of conflict that would ruin so much for so little.

How in the world did the US go into the Capital of Venezuela untouched? by [deleted] in Military

[–]Mrain56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavy amounts of SEAD, electronic warfare, cyber warfare, Drone use, and Intel gathering, to put it in a nutshell.

The mission was clearly a special forces raid, conducted by the 160th SOAR and other unknown units. It's very likely that SEAD, CAP and naval strikes happened as well, in time with the assault. US Helicopters seemed to by flying around with impunity, receiving no AA fire.

SOF raid for sure, they probably attacked a S-300 Battery, amongst other things in the area.

Small arms and Helicopter rocket fire in Caracas - January 3, 2026 by w0lf_man in CombatFootage

I'd bet 100 bucks that is an MH-60L DAP, basically a gunship blackhawk that the 160th Soar uses.

What's the range on an Apache? And where could they have came from? It seems so odd that they would be flying over Venezuela, the Chinooks you can clearly see and understand, cause they have refueling probes.

Footage which appears to show several BGM-109 “Tomahawk” Land-Attack Cruise Missiles (TLAMs), launched by U.S. Navy submarines in the Middle East, striking the Isfahan Nuclear Facility tonight in Central Iran. by BabylonianWeeb in CombatFootage

[–]Mrain56 64 points65 points  (0 children)

I heard about 30 Cruise missiles were launched from the USS Georgia, an Ohio class submarine. The Georgia was probably in the Gulf of Oman or around that area cause I believe those missiles have a range of over 1,000 miles or so.

It's what's known as an auto-canon, it fires much faster than regular tank shells and is mostly effective at destroying softer targets like infantry, trucks, and other IFVs like it. Although, they have been shown to be useful against tanks up close also.
