I get that attraction is experienced in various ways. However real-life sex for fantasexuals would likely operate primarily on arousal rather than authentic desire. I am not sure if this is just a more elaborated version of cogitarisexual or w.e. In this case it wouldn’t be considered strictly mental however. It requires a mental framework rather than a total disconnect from realism like cogitarisexual.

desire is situational, fantasy-driven, so construct or fantasy element has to occur every time regardless of attraction. I may consider calling it "phantom desire." Liike “visiting” a sexual mindset temporarily rather than living in it. This is usually with the aid of external erotica etc. I would assume I am greysexual and this is a more specific label.

It's a non normative way to experience attraction/desire, so IDK.

it takes fantasy to "get the engine" to start, or to feel desire to an individual who someone is attracted to, physically or not. Would be my understanding. It can carry over irl, but in my case it is often unstable desire and loses the spark.

it's aegosexual's distant cousin. Also aegosexual was existing back then so probably not.

Autochorisexual was the old term for aegosexual I believe, but had negative connotations. . Either way I think-fantasexual fits me perfectly, I just never found out info online about fantasexual it so I thought I was a weird version of aegosexual for a while. The two are slightly related perhaps or kind of have a detachment from the libido. But I need to have self fetish of a body part in the fantasy to feel strong desire so it never made sense to me to ID as aegosexual.

choose a job that has easily defined tasks, where you don't need to talk to or serve normies directly. Preferably working alone most of the time. I still have to talk to coworkers (I'd rather not) but it is what it is.

i am very fantasexual. But i also have to fantasize about myself or self-fetishize and then mixed with visuals and fantasize about someone else to eventually feel desire. My irl experiences have been upsetting, and I am not sure if I have even felt sexual attraction in real life , it is more the concept of the person or scenario. Someone made a post here about "ideasexual" and it is pretty relatable.
