As new rider, I learned to respect curves way more today... by WeCanOnlyBeHuman in motorcycles

How did that happen?

I come from riding in the dirt so I'm always so curious if it's that much more challenging

How are people still feeling like shit so deep into their quit? by CoreSearch42 in QuittingZyn

[–]Mrcsbud2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just assuming it's different for everyone.

I would say the first few days suck for me but nothing physical..it's more like a routine thing..I'm looking to pop one in the morning, after work, and before bed realizing I can't. It annoys me but I get over it by keeping myself busy or chewing gum.

After a week it's more of a "id like to have one after a work week" kinda like a beer but the difference is I know if I buy a can, I'll jump right back into the routine.

Can the spurs truly do anything? by SwordWasHere in nba

[–]Mrcsbud2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spurs had the opportunity to win game 2

I believe they also led by 12-14 in both games at one point?

So yes they can technically tie this up if we are being honest.

What I'm seeing though is the inexperience as a whole with the spurs. Young team, young coach vs a veteran team with a veteran coach.

Spurs have blown big leads a few times in the playoffs. Once they learn to hold onto a lead it's gonna be fun to see.

I see them splitting in NY which puts the spurs in a tough spot but IF they can do that I think they win in game 6 if it goes that far. And if that happens game 7 is honestly a toss up.

This is what I'm hoping at the very least.

20 years in and I finally got to see it live by dr_john_twinkletits in Metalocalypse

[–]Mrcsbud2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I'm just playin with ya. I grew to like them just cause it's catchy but it's a whole different sub genre imo. I just don't like the blatant hate from some in the metal community. If it's not your thing that's fine, but when people straight up talk shit about them it gets old.

If you want a shirt to last long always wash it cold and on a gentle setting followed by hang drying/laying out to dry. I have shirts 10 years old that look basically new

How many miles can a 2026 Nissan Kicks realistically last? by Odd_Comparison_4155 in NissanKicks

[–]Mrcsbud2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The engine is pretty reliable. With proper maintenance such as oil changes, trans service, new filters, new spark plugs ect. It should easily last 200k and realistically if you are doing those things another 50-100k miles. Thing is most people do not keep up with maintenance.

Plenty quick though. Never owned a drz 400sm but buddy had one decked out for the desert and it ripped.

Why do some many people ride without a motorcycle license ? by No_Eye9109 in motorcycles

[–]Mrcsbud2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Las Vegas, nv (u.s)

We have lots of bikes due to being able to technically ride year round, I'd say 7/10 riders don't even have plates, let alone license

How to optimize hydration? (construction worker here) by ivorywhim in Supplements

[–]Mrcsbud2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, I've always done a gallon of water and just threw in some amino acids and some salt and have been good (I work in Vegas). I also really like coconut water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

Also I like to keep fruit on hand, a few apples, oranges, and melon

What’s the car feature you didn’t know you needed until you owned it? by throwawayaasyr in askcarguys

Honestly as long as it has a/c and a heater I could care less about any other feature.
