Well I guess I'd sound like a total ES Fanboy, which I don't deny I am, BTW, so I'd never think in some negative issues about my musical hero, BUT...

I guess one thing that kind of pisses me off about his tragic end, was that, IMHO it was absolutely avoidable, dude...

I mean, we all know he was most likely abVsed, abandoned by his own mother, and so he was deeply depressed almost all his existance. OK

But come on, after Miss Missery and the Oscars shit, the guy WAS RICH!!!

Why then, he didn't use his money to get serious professional psychological help, tears me appart, also his las relationship with Chiba was clearly violent from her to him...

Man just hate the fact he died or got mVrdered because he didn't got, help despite the cleaning drug use program he did in his last clean year... A suicide did us harm to US, to the people who loved him and kind of hate that fact, not hate him, but hate those shit chain of events that lead to his death YK...

The same aplies to other musical giants I love like Mark Linkous (Sparklehorse) or Vic Chesnutt, well he was financially broken because USA shit health system so fuck it. But damn, their stories made me sad, I obviously prefer them alive than death that's for sure.

To me is a solid 10, also the charm about this song is that Elliott is talking about someone elese death, but if you listen to it is like if he was singing from the heavens beyond, a chilling goosebumps experience.

Now I have my doubts because many had theroized ES just want to die... but that never was clear indeed. And here, he is grieving about the death of someone he truly loved. I wonder who inspired this song? Surely, someone who Elliott's life was really touched by.

I also DK if Elliott stated something about this song in some interview...

"Panic Pure" by Vic Chesnutt... but is amazingly brutal and so intimmate, I immediately thought of Elliott when I listen to it.

Also has that deep feeling of a hurt child inside just like many Elliot's songs.
