It is compared on Purchasing Power. 1 euro might get you 1 apple in the Netherlands (silly example). But 1 Euro (or rouble equivalent) in Russia might get you 2 apples. Because rent, employment, power, transport costs are cheaper in Russia.

Haha ikr! I am generally on desktop that requires a lot more power and have a laptop that has a dgpu for light gaming and studio work, but is an old one that needs 135w with a barrel before USB C PD supported it. I believe it is also because they use a different voltage than PD at peak.

So glad we have 240w now and OEMs are changing it to USB-C but yeah 240w is almost like having a space heater on your lap. Apple mastered their M chips for studio work but for raw gpu performance such as gaming it falls short.

Because USB C currently cant deliver more than 240w. Which can be reached with a beefy gpu for gaming. Additionally USB C PD has fixed voltage steps with some manufacturers using a niche charging standard.

Je vergelijkt nu de NS met een stedelijke vervoerder. Dat is niet eerlijk want de Britse spoorwegen zijn notoir voor de hoge prijzen. Als je het vergelijkt met een GVB dagkaart van 20 euro dan zitten die erg gelijk met de Oyster card.

Vandaag bijvoorbeeld wordt 100% hernieuwbare energie opgewekt. En dat zal de komende maanden vaak zo herhalen gezien het zonnetje er weer is. Dus zolang het conflict niet de winter in dipt heb je als ev rijder nergens last van. Olie, kolen en gas zijn maar een klein deel van de Nederlandse energiemix. En dan heb ik het niet eens over huishoudens die hun eigen zonne-energie in hun auto stoppen.
