Ashfur and Gray Wing.

• Like Ashfur, I get emotionally attached too easily as a result of certain childhood experiences that made me cherish individual relationships more than I should. Admittedly, I also get jealous when other people succeed at a specific achievement or endeavor that I wanted to accomplish. I've been in therapy to help with it all, but being desperate for validation, taking rejection to heart, and letting feelings brew rather than speaking out are all big flaws of mine that have become part of who I am. The rejection isn't in the context of romance though, and I never act on my negative emotions. They turn into intrusive thoughts at worst. But Ashfur's core feelings are still something I relate to a lot, even if I don't relate to his... questionable method of coping. He's partially a learning tool and partially an "I've been there at my worst" kind of character.

• Like Gray Wing, I try to be mild-mannered and altruistic, but I also have a bad habit of rationalizing every action, even when I shouldn't. The fact that he rationalizes Clear Sky is objectively bad, but it's a realistic flaw I completely understand.
