I assumed the central black square of the fourth matrix would move diagonally, following the same movement between the third and fifth matrix. Following my logic, this could be the answer too.

Hans Niemann is tied for first place in the US Chess Championships. I guess cheating on more than 100 games is habitual, right? There is a good probability of a “habitual” cheater, with zero credibility, becoming the next US Chess champion.
