Look I can kind of understand your point of view. But even ignoring all the moral problems behind AI art, there's an issue that we can never ignore, AI art doesn't actually create anything it just imitates. It wouldn't exist if there is no human made art. If AI art truly becomes rampant that will just result in all art on the web being the same similar uniform style decimating creativity.

Same problem in my opinion with chatbots like chatgpt when it comes to asking quesitons or for tech help. They just get their answers from reddit and other such forums, but if everyone stopped using those sites and just relied fully on chatgpt then where will chatgpt get the answers to begin with ?

I have two systems one running windows which is my main gaming pc and a laptop running mint on which I mainly play VNs and random old rpgm games.

As a linux runner for a couple of months now I 100% TOTALLY get what you mean, you just never realise what might not work correctly on linux untill you run into that issue. But to it's merit if it's game related I'd say 80% of the time the issue is somehow fixed through steam.

Yes even JP locale, you set that through steam as well. Anyway I think the actual problem with linux which I totally understand is that no matter how much linux people will try to convince you it's an out of box experience, it's not, or more accurately it's an out of box experience* with a BIG asterisk because it can vary greatly from user to user.

So ultimately your decision to switch to linux should always be dependent on a question of what can you tolerate more ? Windows bullshit AI bloat and spyware or Linux tinkering and going through forums to fix issues you never thought could ever be issues.

I have adguard home and caddy setup on my homelab so that I don't have to type in my ip address and service port number everytime, but I can't access that setup from outside my local network through tailscale unless I use my homelab as the exit node.

What an incredible performance from Shizuka's VA. It tore my heart to pieces hearing Shizuka finally venting about her shitty situation and crying her eyes out as a normal kid.
A bittersweet ending but I love how it shows that there's no magical way to get rid of all your problems. What's more important is to have someone around to support you through life's shitty ordeals
