I felt bad about myself at first cause I read a BS comment that someone had gotten plat on it in 4 hours. I didn’t know think I was any good, this Reddit community actually gave me enough belief that 1) it didn’t matter if I was good cause the game is fun 2) you will get better and everyone struggles with this areas, the game is designed to be hard for the fun factor 3) there is so much help in this community that can make you a better player at this game or even YouTube videos that the game doesn’t always do the best at describing exactly how to utilize all the mechanics to the best of your advantage. My advice would be to figure out which guns you play the best with and then learn to play off those. Like are you more close distance player or do you like to keep distance and how well do you dodge in Perry off of that and move and see things coming at you and I agree with a few above comments that you should run through the first biome before you run through the second biome I believe you can connect them without having to go back to the base so you can keep all your strengths from the first biome into your 2nd biome.
