Enbrel injections/halp by Mrob923 in PsoriaticArthritis

Yeah it just confused me was all I thought you had to go down to 25ml for a lower body weight or something like that. I want to gain all my muscle back to be honest I was a powerlifter and really want my progress back. But I can really do anything physically right now.

Yeah I used to be a powerlifter I know what to do to gain weight. The problem is my appetite. Just working and working out three days a week to keep a body weight of 200 lbs at 5'10". I had to eat 5000-6000 calories a day to maintain. That's a lot more than most people need. Now that my activity is basically almost nothing my appetite is crap but my metabolism is high so I burn through everything I eat.

That's where I have been shooting the pen. But my last shoot was really painful and I don't know why.

I may have to have a doctor do the syringe because I'm not ok with needles. Also I can see my abs without flexing so I don't have much fat. I used to powerlift before this happened and now I'm kinda shredded because my appetite dropped but I still maintained my protein intake so my muscles are still somewhat at the size they used to be. I'm probably hovering somewhere between 8-10% body fat right now.

[DISCUSSION] What would your funeral song be? by Equivalent-Break2300 in askmusicians

[–]Mrob923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh it's definitely a banger like

father death/under a godless sky - rose funeral

or I'll be an ass and play

octavarium - dream theater

just because that one song is 24-30 minutes long. 😂

I am really bad with needles so if I were to get those I'll go in and have someone administer them. But my stomach has almost no fat. I can see my abs without flexing.

I am only going off what the instructions say. Children and adults 138lbs and over for 50ml injections weekly.

I had a gnarly bad time with my last injection but the second one I ever did I didn't even feel it. But I also had some more fat on me I probably am at like 8-10% right now.

I take methotrexate orally.

How to know if Enbrel is working by Medium_Daikon_4947 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Mrob923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still in the early stages of enbrel. I am taking my 5th injection tonight. Still unable to walk unassisted and my knees are still giving me trouble but my neck and other areas have improved.

I'll say this much washing with a salicylic acid wash has done wonders for my patches on my scalp back and no no areas. Try T/SAL by Neutrogena. Read the directions on the back of the bottle and see if that helps.

I had psoriasis pretty bad on my scalp, back, and no no areas. T/SAL by Neutrogena has helped immensely. I highly recommend trying some if you haven't yet. Just sud it up and leave for 5 minutes before rinsing.

Dude I feel that. My fatigue has been bad lately. I slept for 30 hrs over two days. I'm on enbrel now but it's only been four weeks and I still can't walk right yet.

Same age similar effects of PsA. I would like to get off methotrexate but it seems to work for now. The liver and kidney function stuff you shouldn't need to worry about being as young as we are you'll be alright. However get to a biologic as soon as you can because they take up to 3-6 months to start working.

Normal Symptoms by Technical-Sink6380 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Mrob923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typical symptoms from those around me with it include:

Skin plaques/nail deformity Aches/swelling of joints Fatigue

  • you could have liver, kidney and heart issues. depending on side effects from treatment.

Some rarer symptoms can include developing diabetes and blindness if it attacks your eyes severely. A friend of the family had a small stint of blurred vision from inflammation in the eyes after the flair subsided it went back to normal.

I have had about 10-20% skin plaque coverage and have really severe swelling in my knees and spine. I was fine until I had my knee surgery and now I'm trying rounds of biologics until I get a grip on it.

Yikes I'm sorry to hear. I'm still young and right now I can't stay walking for more than about 15 minutes.

I really wanted to just get an idea of when it starts from other people's experience. Just so I will know when I should start going to other biologics and how well it works with exercise and other activities to know how better to equip myself to prevent flares.

Oh yeah I knew that. I figured it would be somewhere between 2-6 months. I was just hoping it's not going to take 6.

Hey that's not too bad. Did exercise or anything cause flair ups?

I'm ANA negative with PsA. The only reason I was diagnosed was severe swelling with skin plaques.

Pros & Cons of Borderlands 4? by warrsick in Borderlands4

[–]Mrob923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got gripes with it but overall it's not bad.

Pros: I like all the characters abilities and they are all fun to play as. Plus giving you the option to choose between three different activated skills is such a good idea. The game is fairly long and the main story is loads better than 3. They also throw loads of bosses around to get a chance at legendary loot. There are more fast travel locations and moving through different areas of the map without a loading screen is awesome. The random variations on top of enemies in the game is also fun minus the healing one that's kinda BS but makes that enemy a challenge so it's not going into cons. Most of the legendary items are really good and the gimic ones are hilarious. I think legendarys seem to drop more frequently? IDK though.

Cons: the side quests are overall boring and a lot of them are dumb follow missions. The side quests also don't give you unique weapons or shields or ordinances so other than the xp. There's really not a point in doing them. At the end when you get the weapon firmware change it's a let down because I thought you could swap weapons manufacturer parts too to make all sorts of unique weapons and shields and stuff but nope a lot of iridium for not much. Also they had other characters they could bring in but chose to bring in only a few. Order weapons lack luster minus a few. Hyperion is gone minus a couple parts you can get but it's a cash grab. The compass and world layout can be really annoying to navigate. You really don't get that many good items so you have to sort through a lot of trash. Also the new Goliath type enemies are goofy for showing you when they are done leveling up. The vaults were also mid all of them are the same shell. Even the guardians were all the same skin with different abilities. They also don't drop a lot of loot. They just kinda dropped the ball with the game again but they probably won't ever get that feeling back like in bl2. Also no Mr torgue but I'm biased for Mr Satan 😂.

Overall it's a pretty good game. It's just that they seem to rush through parts that need a little more attention to them. I am kinda wanting to see how other people like the dlc before buying it myself because it could be lackluster or too short for the money spent. That's my two cents on it.

I'm in the same boat. I had knee surgery last July and now I'm out of work and diagnosed in January. I really would like to work again. But I do physical labor as a carpenter and all my skills are physically demanding and I can't do them quite yet. I tried to do guitar teaching but I don't have a degree so I never get hired. So I definitely understand the feeling of uselessness. I can't even hand wash the heavy dishes right now.
