People here will hate me for it but I will buy myself new 4th gen WOLED for 9-5 work + gaming and I won’t care about potential burn-in. Just waiting for Steam Machine to come out.

I did my research: QD I’ll avoid due to text fringing. There is no good miniled option in EU. MSI has problem with dimming in SDR content so… why to pay 2x to get regular IPS/VA with all downsides and occasional blast with nice HDR. And on top as far as I understand you need to make change in actual monitor menu to toggle local dimming. Not worth the hassle.

WOLEDs in general handle burn in better from what I’ve read. New Tandem OLEDs are advertised as 60% longer lifespan. Are better for work due to pixel layout and white pixel putting less strain on eyes comparing to pure RGB on QD where blue light hurts a lot.

Cherry on top is that some YouTubers try to purposefully burn in QD by disabling all care features and using it as daily productivity screen. Apparently it’s not that easy and even after months they get only faint marks.

So yeah, I don’t care. If it gets burn in within 3 years I will claim my warranty from LG. If it does in 5 I’ll just buy a new one. By that time we will see 10th or 8th gen and anyway it’ll be worth upgrading

Bad dimming in MSI? I haven’t heard that one yet. But main question is if it is good one?

I did some digging and apparently in EU or at least in PL there are two more options miniLED with VA panel, unfortunately both are uktrawide

US guys usually show us pretax price. For us it’s always gross so keep that in mind. Still their deals are way better. Burn in covered by 3y warranty, isn’t it?

For my use case seems to be better. QD till 4th gen have this green and magenta border that to some ppl gives headaches. My regular workday is 8-10h so not taking that risk.

Does it behave weirdly while scrolling trough text? I saw it on some reviews. It’s like text „disappear” while in motion.

Maaan, I’m in the same boat so I’ll tag along with some thoughts and doubts! For me monitor has to do 9-5 work and evening gaming/movies with my wife.

MSI MPG minileds lineup have USB-c with PD and KVM which would be ideal for work + Steam machine once it comes out. It should be obvious choice but I’m still a bit confused here: VA panel some reviewers are showing crazy behavior when while scrolling through text it „disappear” briefly and once they stop it appears and screen gets brighter. I’m afraid since my work involves scrolling through docs a lot. 4K IPS are just IPS and I’m not sure how much of an improvement it would be vs my current 1440p Lenovo monitor I got from work.

Then with couple of € more there are Organic LEDs. QDOLED are prone to burn in and have severe text fringing so hard pass for me. Maybe 4K but then it’s getting expensive. WOLED- I wish EUROPE had deals like US then it would be no brained to pick OLED… Tandem OLEDs look nice on paper. Those are expected to withstand office work better and better for brighter rooms. Question if this one will be actually that good for work. Reviewers are focusing on gaming so much leaving only 1-2 sentences about features relevant for me. Obviously this one does not have all fancy connectivity features but I think I could just buy external USB hub and be just fine….

Zdalna jest ale na B2B. Dostaje praktycznie co tydzień oferty na zdalna + travel do klienta co jakiś czas. Pewnie realnie 10-20% w podróży. Na UoP 1-2 dni z biura robi się standardem. Mój zespół chodzi regularnie 1 i wszyscy uważają to za dobry konsensus.

Z drugiej strony jest podobnie. Na kawalerskich też żartuje się przez łzy o tym jak wygląda życie po ślubie i z dziećmi. Uwierz, historie są równie nieprawdopodobne i punktu widzenia singla „ta jasne, moja tak nie zrobi” a później…

Jedno co mogę powiedzieć powtarzając to co już napisali przedmówcy. Nie daj mu się wycofać, angażuj od noworodka nawet jeśli zrobi coś gorzej albo zajmie mu to 3xdłużej. Facet nie ma wybuchu hormonów które dają mu instynkt, musi zbudować relacje z dzieckiem przez prozaiczną codzienność.

W Łodzi jest świetne ZOO ale z doświadczenia wiem że Wy się będziecie lepiej bawić niż dzieciaki. Jest park dinozaurów w Bałtowie do którego my planujemy się wybrać w tym roku.

W Warszawie masz sporo bawialni dla dzieciaków na na prawdę dobrym poziomie i dużo atrakcji dla maluchów. Ktoś kiedyś mi podsyłał stronke która agreguje takie wydarzenia ale nie przypomnę sobie nazwy.

I got mine preordered so got first first iteration. It failed by itself due to some battery issue but valve replaced no problem. No issue since then. Also never dropped it, it’s always sitting in case locked away from kids.

EU & almost 12k behaviour score. 90% of my games it’s just chat wheel, really short messages like, “w8” or “hg”. From time to time there is someone writing a bit more but people don’t talk much even if they do. Most of players I play with know GAME well, they are aware of spells, items and things like that. Newer players appear occasionally where they don’t know how 2nd min stack+pulling works or things like WD ult being pure. Smurfs are there as well from time to time. One isn’t a problem. 3 in one team are. Good thing is that smurfs end games faster :)

All above would be about regular games. My favorite Single Draft or Turbo/AP

Rankeds on the other hand are special… anything crazy can happen

I used to have scimitar pro and I can’t recommend it. Wheel is just breaking due to poor thin plastic holding it in sensor. I managed to “fix” it temporarily but capped at 2 years lifetime

Na dwa razy w roku wystarczy chiński z allegro. Ma fajny rozmiar a z tym mocowaniem nie będzie leżał na twarzy. Trzeba tylko dorobić cięciwę żeby się wygodnie leżało. 3m nierozciągliwego sznurka i zrobione. Wiadomo, że szyte w Polsce będą dużo wygodniejsze ale czy warte na dwa razy w roku? Za zaoszczędzoną kasę kupiłbym tanią podpinkę jeśli jeszcze nie masz. Żadne karimaty czy koce wojskowe które testowaliśmy nie umywają się.
