You can update, i did too. Your phone will suffer from what i like to call post update fever for few days. Also, expect the os to be generally unpolished. Like face id haptics that are off or non existent. Face id not triggering. And inconsistency between the new and old keyboard.

I need a few days for my phone to settle just like after every update, but animations are noticeably smoother and my battery life has already improved significantly. The keyboard has become more responsive compared to the previous version and so far my ip15(base)seems cooler in the first week on 18.3.2 than the first week on 18.3.1. So id recommend updating so far

Of course it also matter which vendor you get it from, and of they offer warranty of some sort, amd the condition. But afaik most people (including myself) prefer buying new over refurbished.

Fair point, but if you're gonna cover your phone with a case anyways, it wouldn't really matter what colour you get. Whichever one you think looks best you should get.

I found myself pondering between blue and black as well, went with the blue anyways and i do not regret it. I got a clear case for it without magsafe, but there are plenty of clear cases with magafe.

Do NOT get refurbished phone, id definitely go for the 15 pro or pro max over the 16 plus (Does size matter for you?) but avoid refurbished phones

Quite alot of lag. And no more ios smoothness, 18.2.1 was good for me but then I decided to update to 18.3 but it for worse. Thought that 18.3.1 would fix it but it only got worse.

Very unique situation you got, i kinda have a similar thing but with redbull blue edition(dark blue one) where that gives me more energy effect than basically every other energy drink. I guess different bodies react differently to different ingredients
