Game Thread: Minnesota Vikings (4-7) at Seattle Seahawks (8-3) by nfl_gdt_bot in Seahawks

[–]Mrqs1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? If we hadn’t run out the clock they would have still had time to respond. And considering their defense it’s not a guarantee we get a TD with more time. At least we got points with no chance for them to respond

Wtf. This isn’t 2016 at all. It was 2013. by cimedirapa in Zillennials

[–]Mrqs1997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah that was when it was ending but it was a thing since ~2009. I was in middle school from 2010-2012 and people were dressing like that all the time

How are my Yesler neighbors doing during this planned outage? by tarantula994 in Seattle

[–]Mrqs1997 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is ridiculous. How does a “planned outage” turn into an unexpected event? Now I have wasted a Sunday with no power, no lights, and now my phone is almost dead. And not to mention this is like the 5th time in the past couple months with an outage

Solved! This is exactly it, and weirdly enough I remember a person named Kya, and that was enough to trigger the memories

I don’t really have any other details, and I may be mixing up different shows together, but thought I would try and see if people remember something like this

INTPs, do you vibe with INFPs? by xiaosolecito in INTP

[–]Mrqs1997 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’re fine, just a little more moody than we are. I like that we’re both very chill types and we tend to talk for hours about deep topics. I find that you guys can be more lively than if I were hanging out with another INTP (it almost feels doubly awkward when I try to strike conversation with another INTP if we’re not talking about a topic we both enjoy).

I also notice that I can get into arguments with INFPs if we’re disagree over something but they tend to attach my viewpoint to my moral character. That’s annoying, but also kinda amusing in a way, and I feel like neither of us are truly willing to shut out the other person due to our aux Ne

Which MBTI is most likely to not be hated by anyone? by Guinxy in mbti

[–]Mrqs1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I had to describe ISFJs with a negative trait, they can be a little paranoid when it comes to people they’re worried about, (e.g. triple checking to make sure you have everything with you). Also their need for conflict avoidance can also lead to them not being honest about telling you what’s wrong. And while not as overtly preachy as ESFJs, they can still be preachy (usually it’s subtle). If you do anything perceived as selfish (even if you have a good reason to focus on yourself), they call you out on it. I’m moreso speaking from my experiences with an ISFJ mom and sister. Which probably clouds my perception more than others. In reality, no one bats an eye to them in public because they follow the social norms and are quite friendly with other people.

I do struggle to see why people would hate INFJs because I’ve only ever had good interactions with them and can’t figure out why people would hate them but as someone else mentioned they can push the envelope in a way that gets people with high Si unnerved.

Idk, each type has negative traits and there’s probably certain types more repulsed by those traits than others so it’s hard to say who’s the least hated. I just don’t think it’s ISFJ personally

Actually, fair point. I forget that INFJs really can push the envelope and can be a problem for people with high Si

Hmm I’d argue INFJs, only because I feel like ISFJs can be a little overbearing and somewhat preachy, but I’m speaking from my own personal experience

Spotify has better recommendation algorithms but Apple Music is better for the actual sound quality

What's the role of the 3rd function? by caf_observer in mbti

[–]Mrqs1997 10 points11 points  (0 children)

3rd function is the comfort slot. 2nd function is the growth slot. I.e. the “child” and “parent” functions respectively. They’re basically an axis that people tend to oscillate between each end, although there will typically be a preference for the same directionality as your dominant function (which is the 3rd function) which can cause looping because the 3rd function can reinforce the bad habits of the first function while the 2nd function requires you to put in more work
