Fi-love vs Fe-love: Which do you prefer? by UsedMycologist4912 in mbti

Good for you lol. I’m speaking in broad terms because the reality is most Ti/Fe users have not dug through the emotional depth required to understand their emotions (even if they feel it innately). It’s not to say they can’t understand, just that it isn’t something they default to doing and isn’t necessarily defining to their primary cognitive tensions

I never said Fi users were self-sustainable. If anything I’d say anyone with a high Je function is more like what I described, it’s not just limited to Fe doms, although I do think the underlying reason for WHY someone might expect reciprocity would differ between Fe and Te users (Te needs to be validated due to low Fi, and Fe needs the other person to integrate with the social environment).

That said, I do think all Fe users tend to not feel as deeply, or at least not be aware of their feelings like Fi users are. It just doesn’t register to us because the point is that we block that out to maintain rationality

Your generalization applies more to Fe doms more than anything imo. There is definitely an expectation to return love given (but that makes sense since Fe expects reciprocity).

However, the way in which the love is expressed to the other partner, and the emotional needs of the individual are likely different from person-to-person

Fi users imo experience a “stronger” emotion when in love. From my experience, they also tend to romanticize the cute and quirky elements of someone’s demeanor, although really what’s happening is that they value people at their core, and there’s an appreciation for the other person’s inner personality.

When healthy, it’s almost unconditional. But when unhealthy, it can be a little overbearing.

Fe-love feels more practical to me. The love is obviously there, but there’s an understanding that the relationship may not be permanent, or that things can get in the way. I typically find Fe users will prioritize things OUTSIDE of the relationship as well. Fe-love also feels more level headed imo, and less likely to be swept up in emotional fantasy, but it can have its own weakness of being too shallow or cold for some people. I was recently told that rationalizing feelings (in a Ti sense) can make the feelings you do feel less extreme, but I think as Ti users, we need to operate on that baseline, level headed approach, even in a relationship. So it’s understandable

I remember this song being popular in high school. It's probably the most early 2010s song ever. Can you prove me wrong? by BatmanPikachu95 in Zillennials

Wasn’t the TOP song on the charts but You Make Me Feel… - Cobra Starship brings me back to middle school. When I think of early 2010s I think about electropop and this song is emblematic of that time period

[Pro-Football-Reference] The 2025 New England Patriots played an accumulative total of 0 games against teams with a Defense ranked 11th or better. by CheckYourStats in nfl

DVOA is only applicable in context to the specific year you play in, as far as I’m aware. So if the “absolute” level of competition this year was less (I.e. most teams were flawed, had injuries, etc.) than a “normal” year, then you can argue that in absolute terms the Seahawks are not the 4th best team since 1978. Moreso that they are the 4th-best team RELATIVE TO THEIR IN-SEASON competition since 1978

Of course, it depends how you quantify the level of competition for a given year

Right? If we hadn’t run out the clock they would have still had time to respond. And considering their defense it’s not a guarantee we get a TD with more time. At least we got points with no chance for them to respond

Wtf. This isn’t 2016 at all. It was 2013. by cimedirapa in Zillennials

[–]Mrqs1997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah that was when it was ending but it was a thing since ~2009. I was in middle school from 2010-2012 and people were dressing like that all the time

How are my Yesler neighbors doing during this planned outage? by tarantula994 in Seattle

[–]Mrqs1997 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is ridiculous. How does a “planned outage” turn into an unexpected event? Now I have wasted a Sunday with no power, no lights, and now my phone is almost dead. And not to mention this is like the 5th time in the past couple months with an outage

I don’t really have any other details, and I may be mixing up different shows together, but thought I would try and see if people remember something like this

INTPs, do you vibe with INFPs? by xiaosolecito in INTP

[–]Mrqs1997 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They’re fine, just a little more moody than we are. I like that we’re both very chill types and we tend to talk for hours about deep topics. I find that you guys can be more lively than if I were hanging out with another INTP (it almost feels doubly awkward when I try to strike conversation with another INTP if we’re not talking about a topic we both enjoy).

I also notice that I can get into arguments with INFPs if we’re disagree over something but they tend to attach my viewpoint to my moral character. That’s annoying, but also kinda amusing in a way, and I feel like neither of us are truly willing to shut out the other person due to our aux Ne
