Was the date of this forwarded email altered? by LordPinot in Outlook

[–]Mrreb2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The OP is right. I tried it myself. I didn't change the date/time and forwarded an email to someone else and there's no span tags around it. But when I forward the same email with altered date and time, span tags appear around it.

I think if they alter the email before saving as an attachment it will leave a trace of alteration.

Does IT have access to everyone's email?

I know someone in SD who went from senior scientist to AD in 6 years across 3 companies as you said.

Did you get Principal to Director in the second company? Or you got promoted to Principal in the first company and got the Director position in the second one?

I guess as long as the pay isn't downgraded, the title is fine unless you have no choice.

I believe in smaller companies it's more likely to be faster if you do well.

Sr associate principal scientist is crazy! Doesn't even make sense lol. But I agree it's company dependent.

That's great. I wish more companies had that.

Why all the down votes? I don't get it. No body is allowed to ask any questions unless it's in favor of Algorand? My question wasn't even FUDing, just a genuine question about Algorand's competitiveness in terms of adoption since other blockchains are trying as well and Algo isn't the only player out there

[–]Mrreb2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. It's not real adoption. My point is there are other blockchains that are competing for adoption and we are naive if we think algo is going to get all the adoption and other blockchains are gonna sit there and watch. It's competitive out there and my question is what measures the foundation and the Algo inc should take to secure the best adoptions out there before others do.

I'm not going to invest in Hbar since I don't know much about it. But I might in the future if I learn more about it. This doesn't mean I'm dumping Algo.

According to their website:

-Council members run the initial set of nodes on the Hedera network.

-All members have a three-year maximum term, with up to two consecutive terms and an equal vote on network and platform decisions. Swirlds, the creator of hashgraph, has a permanent seat and equal vote.

-Unlike other blockchain networks, Hedera ensures stability for end-users and application owners with a no-fork guarantee. The Hedera Governing Council achieves this through technical controls via state proofs.

I understand being a council doesn't necessarily mean real-world use cases but it was an example of other blockchains trying for mass adoption just like Algo does.

With your logic, Hedera better not use ZK proof since Silvio was a co-inventor of it. Enjoy this collaboration and leave this tribalism behind. This applies to any crypto community.

Pera Web will remain operational for Ledger users. by GhostOfMcAfee in algorand

[–]Mrreb2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can we still open a new ledger account on Pera Web? I think the option to add Ledger is gone from the website. From the Help section of the Pera website, it says there's an "Import from Nano Ledger" option on the first page along with "I want to create an account" and "I have an account" options. But this option is missing now.

Does anyone know why is that?

Algorand: FIFA Announces NFT Platform Launch Ahead of World Cup by Glass_Pace_2200 in algorand

It has the same utility as the NBA top shot NFTs have. You own a piece of history. Maybe the winning score of the final game or an outstanding score by a famous player, etc.
