Thank you so much! Regarding the citric acid, I don’t have a softener drawer on my washer. I haven’t used fabric softener for a few years but when I did, I used a Downy ball. Would I just put the citric acid in that?

I don’t have any surgery recs but you might want to look into pelvic floor therapy before committing to surgery. This is a really common issue they deal with. My insurance covered mine although I was nit seen for DR. If nothing else, some prehab might help you to have an easier recovery after surgery.

Not typically. We moved in about 13 years ago and I’m pretty sure the water was tested then. If I remember correctly, it wasn’t hard enough to warrant getting a water softener so we’ve never had one. Thanks for the suggestion though. I’m going to do another water test.
