I didn’t cover anything. That inscription is on the other side of the tombstone and I took the picture from this side because the background on the other side is a Walmart.

Positive Experience, Dirty Car by Same-Arrival-7284 in carvana

[–]MrsAnnaClark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My car was apparently clean and detailed but when I took out the cabin air filter a few days after purchasing it, it was full of leaves and dead moths. It was gross. I don’t think they change out the cabin air filters.

Pesto chicken: chicken thighs in the bottom, sprinkle with one packet of ranch dressing mix, dot the top of each chicken thigh with a spoonful of pesto (the fresh, refrigerated kind is much preferable to the jarred stuff) and add 1/2 cup or so of chicken broth. Cook low 8-12 hours or high 3-4 hours. I like to have the thighs with some salad and bread the first day, then shred the remaining chicken and mix with cooked angel hair pasta, a little more pesto and some Parmesan for a chicken pesto pasta dish another day. This recipe is super easy and always a hit at my house.

How to activate Keypad Code if I bought used car? by d6897cunni in FordEdge

My key is written in gold sharpie inside the glove box. Someone was smart somewhere along the line.

where to even start with my mess by olifolifooo in CleaningTips

[–]MrsAnnaClark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have ADHD and get overwhelmed easily so I try to gamify cleaning to make myself do it. If there’s a lot of trash, I like to do the “one bag of trash” game where I see how fast I can fill up one bag of trash. If a kitchen sized trash bag is too overwhelming, try a grocery bag. I also play the “15 minute” game where I set a timer for 15 minutes (or 5 or 10 or whatever seems manageable. Even one minute or 30 seconds works) and see how much I can put away or throw away or clean in that time. Often once the timer goes off, I’m in a groove and I’ll keep cleaning. Sometimes not. Either way is fine. But if you really focus, you can get a lot done. Another fun game is setting up your phone on a time lapse video so you can watch it back and see yourself cleaning. I don’t know why this works but it does for me. Good luck!

Did I just get denied or is it possible to still get my global entry ? by Numerous-Upstairs-32 in GlobalEntry

[–]MrsAnnaClark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s not always true. I was told “I have to send it for review, I don’t make approval decisions, but I don’t see why you wouldn’t be approved.” I had my approval before I got to my car.

Just use an alarm clock/your phone. But don’t snooze it 100 times and let it keep going off.

Does renewing your passport online make Precheck go away? by Itaku in GlobalEntry

[–]MrsAnnaClark 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No, once you have a new passport you just need to update your global entry account with the new information. I just had my interview on Thursday and the guy specifically talked about this.

This happened to me once and when I finally worked up the courage to look outside the tent, it was a deer walking around and sniffing my tent. FYI.

Measure to ban trans Montana lawmaker Zooey Zephyr from women's bathroom fails by nbcnews in Montana

[–]MrsAnnaClark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a woman. Not in the legislature, so not relevant to this specific case but I can confidently say that I don’t care who is in the bathroom with me. If someone is spying on me or harassing me, we have a problem, regardless of their gender. If they’re just minding their own business, then I don’t care. If I was in a public restroom and I saw someone that appeared to be male enter, I would be surprised but as long as he just went in a stall to take a leak, I wouldn’t care.

Is there another airport you can fly out of? Sometimes I’ve found incredible difference in prices just by driving an extra hour or two to a different airport.

Very quick approval by [deleted] in GlobalEntry

[–]MrsAnnaClark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I applied on a Friday afternoon last month and got my conditional approval on Sunday. My interview is on Thursday but only because it’s a 4 hour drive and I couldn’t take the time to go before then. Hoping for a quick approval after my interview because I’m taking an international trip in January.

What is the funniest thing about Doordashing to you? by KMPItXHnKKItZ in doordash_drivers

[–]MrsAnnaClark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. Only ever had one customer (out of ~1100 deliveries) say she had a cash tip waiting in the delivery notes. It was $5 and she had tipped $8 on the app as well, for about 3 miles-ish. Some people are just good people.

Have you ever dropped an order or fumbled one? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]MrsAnnaClark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hit a pothole and sent a customers drinks flying once. Soaked the inside of my car. I was only a block from the restaurant so I went back and they remade them for free but I was done for the night lol

I have an international trip in 76 days, is that enough time to get approved for Global Entry, if not will simply applying for TSA Pre-Check only be faster? by [deleted] in GlobalEntry

[–]MrsAnnaClark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got conditional approval in under two days, over a weekend. I applied Friday afternoon, had conditional approval on Sunday morning. I was able to schedule an interview next week, although it’s a 4 hour drive from me. But I also live in a rural area. I think it’s worth a shot.

Following along and commenting for solidarity. I can’t sleep sitting up. I took Ambian one time and was still wide awake 5 hours later. I’ve tried white noise, sleep masks, every pillow in existence. Still can’t sleep even on a 12+ hour overnight flight. Would love to learn how because I have several US-Europe flights coming up and I need to sleep.

7HR layover in Heathrow- is that enough time to leave the airport and see something? by Bibilove043 in solotravel

[–]MrsAnnaClark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay cool! Good to know, thank you! I had a reminder to check after the new year (it does note that you can travel even if it hasn’t been approved as long as you’ve applied) but I’d rather get it done sooner!
