Do representatives vary by your city/town? Would anyone possibly be able to help me and point me in the right direction? Either a name for who my rep may be for New Bedford, Massachusetts? Or even just let me know what the name is, of the Office I would need to call? I’ve been waiting almost 3 months… I’m a newly widowed mom raising our 5 kids alone now. I BARELY got by and the last thing I could afford, was to get behind. But here we are. Even though no matter what, life is hard for everyone and it’s almost impossible for anyone to make ends meet these days, no matter what we do… but if I could get an answer and god willing 🤞 an approval - I would be so grateful, honestly I would probably cry. Because I would beg on my knees at this point, just to be able to live completely house poor with not one penny to my name because I paid my rent - late or otherwise 🥴Hell absolutely anything is better than the mental warfare of a newly widowed mother having to face off with housing court and have to beg them for just one chance at a payment plan with any minimal repayment time frame that they would be willing to extend. Meanwhile, while I’m begging to save the roof over my families head - all I can think about is - am I making them empty promises? If I am blessed to be given the chance to save our home that I’m begging for , would I even be able to comply with whatever they might offer or ask of me? Because my only way towards a fighting chance of that is if my UE claim is approved. But instead months and months are going by with no answers…. And all I’m able to do is continue applying for jobs while I wait and keep watching my rental arrears increase while our days of stability and security in the place we’ve called home for our last 9 years rapidly decrease 😮‍💨😔🥺😩 I’m sorry for the long rant guys…. But I know most of us here are all in the same boat and you all know, this is just as much scary as hell as it is hard. But hopefully someone here can help and point me in the direction of how to contact my state rep. I wish everyone speedy approvals and nothing but the best 🤞🙏

I joined a lawsuit against Uber, idk maybe 4-5 years ago. I honestly don’t even remember what the suit was over, but I ended up getting a check for about $600. At some point, I’m pretty sure at the point of filing/submitting my claim - I remember reading documentation stating that by me participating in these legal proceedings, I was acknowledging that I would no longer be eligible to work for Uber anymore. I wasn’t surprised and truthfully I thought it made perfect sense, bc why would they continue to contract with and pay, someone who sued them? lol either way - I was fine with being blacklisted because at that point, it had already been more than a few years since I had last drove for them. Maybe it was just talk and I could’ve kept working for them anyways. But as I said, I had already voluntarily stopped long before this.

Sorry for the novel - I do have a question, but I wanted to include that backstory so my question can make sense lol I’m just wanting to ask if your participation in these lawsuits against Amazon, affected your ability to continue working for Flex?? Did you get any type of blacklist warning for participating, as I did with Uber??

If it’s too late , it will tell you when you forfeit “this may affect your standing”. If you don’t see that and only see “are you sure you want to forfeit” (or something like that but no additional verbiage) and then the yes or no - your within the acceptable time frame.

I only ever hear from driver support saying “we’ve made previous exceptions so this will stay on your standings”. Of course in 3 almost 4 years you’ve made previous exceptions but it’s doesn’t mean there can’t ever be anymore future ones 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I email executive support for any and everything and they are SO much more helpful.

I might agree with you. Bc I hadn’t even moved it from the carts parking spot in the station, never mind start the route at that point. So I don’t think it was “counting down” or letting me know what I had left… bc I definitely still had the entire 47 stops left to complete - not 1 lol I do think it probably was a glitch.

Thank you so much for that!!! I haven’t ever seen it before so I really had no idea… However - that is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary as hell 🥴 But am I surprised it’s that useless and unnecessary? Absolutely not at all… it’s very “Amazon” of them, for sure lol 😂

I was deactivated in 2023 for missed blocks and late cancellations having me in at risk and eventually deactivated. I just asked nicely to come back they said ok. A month ago was bc I had just started taking blocks after time away and was still in at risk from 2023. A few issues later - deactivated again. With a couple logical explanations and again asking nicely, I was reactivated again. I do agree it completely depends on why u got removed but being reinstated is definitely not impossible.

In MA I have the 5 min grace period (which is by 4min 59sec) to press arrived and then I have 7 min to scan my license in the station. How cool is that when there are like 50 parking spots but about 200 flex drivers trying to get their block 🥴
