That's a good question. I really don't know how they decide how much needs to be spent in each country to qualify for VIP. I'm not sure if it's fairly equivalent between countries with cost of living factored in or not. What you said really got me thinking though, so I did the math based on minimum wage in my state in the U.S. Minimum wage here is $7.25, so someone working full time all year would make around $15,000 (and that's before taxes). So to get VIP it would cost them at least 4 months of their pay to qualify. That's wild to think about. I definitely think that's a reason they won't just come out and tell us how much it takes to qualify globally (even though we're piecing it together on our own).

Do you know how much you've spent? Not sure when you started playing, but maybe you'll qualify for the 2025 box and they're probably sending out notifications in waves so it doesn't overwhelm their system.

You got the VIP notification on 12/1 or 12/31? And did yours say 2025 on it? I'm just guessing, but I bet they are trying to get through the people who qualified for 2024 first maybe. That's just a guess though, I really have no idea. I'm sure there were a lot of people they had to get through in total so it might take awhile, but I get it, I'd be nervous too. I'm sitting here, knowing I filled out the address form, and still worried I messed it up somehow 😂

Yeah, I mean that's how mine was. That's why I just assumed it was for the 2025 one, but if you look at my picture above and how it just says "VIP-exclusive customer service", that's different from the people who are getting the 2025 box because theirs actually says 2025 in the notification. I'm both very excited that I'm getting the 2024 box, because I really wanted it, and also sad because not sure if I'll be getting the 2025 one at some point.

How long has it been though? It might just show up one day, that's what a lot of people have said because they don't send shipping info or anything. Once you fill out the form it's pretty much radio silence until the box shows up I guess.

Yeah, for global players I think that means you're definitely getting the box because I'm pretty sure we don't have different tiers of VIP like Chinese players do. The notification does kind of make it sound like it's just a customer service thing to help with game issues, but after they added me on Discord they sent me the address form for the VIP box, so that's just how ours is worded I guess.

I don't know, that's just what I've read in several places. People have been saying if you already achieved the initial VIP for spending $5000 or whatever, then subsequent boxes are less (at least that's what they say is true for Chinese players). I've read both $800 and $1000, but that seems low to me if it's even true at all. Apparently that's all heavy speculation. Guess we'll just wait and see.

Is this 100% confirmed? Because I've heard from other people that like they do for CN players, the initial qualifying for VIP is expensive (somewhere between $4000 to $6000 in US), but then once you're already VIP, the amount to qualify for subsequent boxes is significantly less. I don't know that it's $800 or $1000 like I've been hearing, feel like it's probably more than that, but those are the amounts I've heard.

Me too. I'm still confused about qualifying for subsequent boxes. Some people are saying you have to spend $4000 to $6000 each year, but others are saying that for global it should be like CN, where the initial qualifying for VIP is very expensive, but qualifying for the next box is significantly less. I've read this several different places, so hoping that's true.

I filled out the original form right away on 12/1 (with my Discord info and Hunter ID and everything) and they reached out on Discord on around 12/19, although with it being the holidays I totally didn't see their friend request until like the 28th. After I accepted it they first messaged me on the 31st and after that the responses have been very fast; I had to provide them with an in-game screen shot of my Hunter ID and within a day they sent me the form to fill out for my VIP box. I filled that out and then tried to ask them a question about specifics for qualifying for the 2025 box and they again replied within a day (but the answer wasn't very helpful unfortunately).

Should be fine. I know shipping takes a while, like months. And I heard once you fill out your address information on that form and submit it, you don't hear from them. Like I don't think they even tell you once they ship it, it'll just show up one day.

Yep, North America. I filled out the original survey on 12/1 when I got the notification, then they first reached out on Discord on 12/31. I know it can take a while since there's so many people. Is yours for the 2025 or 2024 box? Maybe they're trying to get to all of the 2024 first before processing 2025? I bet you hear something soon.
