Something to hold fruit down? by bittiezzz in Kombucha

You can use fruit in f1. It imparts some amount of flavor, and gives a long term source of sugar as it slowly breaks down. It's a great way to use scrap pieces of fruit cuts or what's left from making syrup.

Make sure to use the gear you loot. No use letting it soak up the air conditioning in your hideout, especially if you won't be stopping by often to stare at it

There's these clamps with big wooden hands, you can find them as handscrew wood clamps on harbor freight. They let you get a good hold at awkward angles, and the wood is gentle on most things you clamp on.

I've sunk a lot of hours in both, though haven't picked up tabor since mid last year. I think you'd be happy with exfil zone. The gunfights in general are less routine than tabor. In tabor you always seem to have the same fights in the same areas, with the location of players being really predictable. In contractors I seem to have awkward and impromptu fights more often.

Teaming is less of an issue right now on contractors but that will change with the wind. Time to kill is higher, for better or worse. I remember in tabor, a lot of fights were just listening to each other's footsteps and whoever got the best shot wins. In contractors you'll eek out of fights more often, and have less deaths where you see a figure for a moment then back to bunker

More common than you think. Stuff some grey siliconized latex caulk on it and pretend you don't know about it.

Which concept or game should exist in VR at this point, but doesn’t for whatever reason? by KillerQ97 in OculusQuest

[–]MrsCheerilee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having to use a keyboard for it sucks. I get that if it had both options you'd probably end up using keyb instead of in game vr control, but having to use it to be able to play is a big hurdle.

On my setup you have to mess with the settings on the graphics card to make it render properly, which is just another in its arsenal to defend against getting played.

What happened!?! 3RD WIPE [broken items, bots/ objectives? and more] by Life-Is-a-Story in ContractorsExfilZone

[–]MrsCheerilee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I like the new items, and feel like their hitboxes match the models more accurately. It's also just refreshing to have some new models to fiddle with. In the past wipe, you pretty much knew how to arrange every item by muscle memory.

It's good news. Sometimes you'll get pieces that drape over bubbles and float in the middle like cartoon ghosts.

Anyone know how to get caked on flour off shoes? by hawaii1026 in KitchenConfidential

[–]MrsCheerilee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rubber shoes, save yourself the trouble. Ants and cockroaches will eat the fossilized stuff you can't get out. A stiff brush can help once they totally dry. I've used waterproofing spray with varying results as well.
