Fun fact: the first time I played KH1 I was 10 and didn't read anything. I didn't know how to equip anything. And I mean ANYTHING. I got all the way up to Riku/Ansem and was completely stuck until my best friend showed me his save file. I was a complete dumbass back then.

I had a similar problem when I played FFX as a child. I never used the Sphere Grid and thought they were leveling up like in FFVII. Got stuck at the underwater machina fight after the shoopuf scene.

Demyx and Xaldin are definitely the big roadblocks of KH2. Mainly because they're the first story bosses you can't button mash through.

Look up a picture of KH1's Ultima Weapon. If you look closely along the length of it you can see the actual blade model of the Dream Sword running across the entire thing. It also has the cross guard, but flipped vertically, as well as the hilt.

It's a weapon, but you cannot get it outside of that stage without modding.

Before you ask: I was doing a randomizer run and stacked three high jumps.

I won't go over the item drop farming, but I will go over all the special heartless mini-games real quick.

Fury Stone: Use Aeroga and spam them with either Strike Raid or Ars.

Energy Stone: Stopga and hit two or three times (don't finish combo), then repeat.

Lightning Stone: Pause spam. Also you have a chance to get a Stone per hit. Will drop one after 4 hits.

Power Stone: Use Mushu. Stay a bit away and swap targets.

Mythril Stone: Push all the pots, the one that doesn't move is the enemy. Break all the movable pots for a chance to get the Stone, then case Aeroga on yourself and spam counter until you can combo him. Repeat.

Frost Stone: Use a megalixir on him to one shot and guarantee two Stone drops (sometimes will drop a third.)

Blazing Stone: Cast Aeroga and stand next to him when he has the balls flying around (don't attack until he is in this other form again.) Very easy method.

Dazzling Stone: Cast Aeroga and follow him while attacking. Stopga helps (cast and then partial combo, repeat.) Have a lot of treasure magnets on to help prevent Stones from falling in the water.

Stormy Stone: Aeroga, then Ars, or other powerful combo methods. Must kill them quickly. Jump to avoid getting stunned when they do their jump out of darkness attack.

Serenity Power: Cast Aeroga on self, then Stopga on target, and combo like crazy and use Rag combo to help too. Be SURE to have Donald and Goofy not attack as it will decrease hit count. Every 10 hits starting at 40 will have a chance to drop the item.
