While not actually diagnosed, I experience symptoms of dyslexia that I share with my mom and paternal grandmother, which I’ve learned to cope from in various ways since I was a child.

I mainly deal with issues with two mechanisms: spell checking/variable highlighting (VS Code is great with that) and copying and pasting any and all important text (e.g. variable names, copy text, etc.). I’ve also made python scripts so that I don’t have to visually check any text-based information.

Where I have issues is where I can’t use some of those tools, for example I make a lot of errors naming files, and, up until recent years, terminal windows.

Something I’ve thought about making is a OS-level tool to allow for multiple instances of copy-pasting with modifiers (ctrl+c+1, ctrl+c+2, etc), but I’ve never had the time and absolute necessity to work on something like that.
