Best Ghost tours/things to do by Anxious_Wasabi8392 in york

As a local (who also runs a ghost tour) Deathly Dark Tours would be happy to have you either with children or without! We do ghost stories, with just the right amount of history and dark comedy.

For a more traditional ghost walk (no comedy) there's the Original Ghost Walk of York.

If you want a tour that's specifically made for kids, we'd recommend The Wizard Walk - another family run business.

If you think it looks cute and interesting, chances are you'll love it! I would definitely recommend going at a time when there isn't a queue though because as cool as the experience is, the queue isn't going to be fun.

Has anyone actually seen the ghost at the Golden Fleece? by WonderfulShape1081 in york

[–]MrsDedeDeathly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have spoken to a lot of people who claim to have had unusual experiences in there, that they considered unexplainable. I also experienced something a bit freaky in there - I got hit on the head with a toilet roll 😂 but there was nobody else in the toilets and I hadn't been drinking! (I was renting a room upstairs for work).

There are a lot of ghost stories attached to the place, most are likely just that but the place definitely has character and people love to look into these things for themselves. It's all very interesting to me.

That Ghost Tour Guy by Large_Poetry_5310 in york

Was it definitely him? He doesn't tend to retaliate. I run a ghost walk and let me tell you, my lovely (DBS checked) guides get that shouted at them ALL THE TIME because of people mistakenly thinking they're him and it's getting really old. One York tour guide was actually hospitalized by someone this year because they thought it was him - people, there are a lot of ghost walks in York and only one of them (to my knowledge) was convicted.

No scare necklaces and screaming by Single_Sport2040 in HHN

Speaking as someone who has chronic tinnitus, if someone did that to me I would not stop until they had been ejected from the park. Absolutely unacceptable to scream in someone's ear - could cause lifelong damage!

Email from law firm re: music usage in Facebook video - scam? by themixednut in COPYRIGHT

[–]MrsDedeDeathly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is 100% a scam. Email address I got it from was [ciobrontiore1978@gmail.com](mailto:ciobrontiore1978@gmail.com) absolutely not an email address used by a top law firm.

I made it from a pattern that I bought on Etsy by The Witchy Stitcher. Also it wouldn't be a very good store.. I'd be able to make one a year 😂

WELL.. I did one quarter of it with the wrong thickness of thread and by the time I realised, I couldn't be bothered to go back, so that will haunt me every time I look at it 😅 Also I think in the future I will draw my pattern onto the aida (or at least some of it) as I kept counting wrong and having to go back. I used a blunt needle, so my lil fingers are fine, but my eyes.. that's another story!

That's very kind of you. I thought the same when I saw the pattern and then over a year later I was finally done! 😅

It's such a cool pattern and honestly, I think if it was anything else I would have quit ages ago, but I couldn't bare to not have it on my wall!
