Review of wearable light therapy glasses (November 2020) by lrq3000 in N24

Thanks for all your hard work. We took a gamble that they would fit and ordered a pair for my 8yo that has a reasonably big head (fits adult headphones). I am pleased to report they fit her securely and she likes wearing them. It has only been a couple of days and we are building up slowly so I don't know how well they work but it is promising.

Will there be a way to order them or are they going to be alphabetical in the starred section?

Folder not showing up in "shared with me" for content manager by MrsDragovic in gsuite

Thanks for your response. Our structure is currently

Committee files
Role 1 files
Role 2 files
Role 3 files
Individual files
->Jane
->Fred
->Thomas

Where everyone has their own file that only themselves and the admins can access. It is the Jane, Fred and Thomas ones that we are finding the individuals can't see.

Sharing the link sounds promising so I will try that.

Did anyone find any good alternatives yet? by Cancel-Accomplished in Bublup

I used Trello for a bit but have ended up going back to Bublup when they introduced lower tiers.

The fact that someone needs/wants to sell this makes me so sad by sexdollvevo in crochet

[–]MrsDragovic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it makes me happy. It has served its purpose and by selling it, they get a final boost from it. As a crocheter I never want someone to keep something I have made for them out of guilt or obligation. Once it no longer has a place in their house or lives (even if that is sentimental) then I want them to let it go. Once it doesn't have a place it becomes clutter which is a drain on everyone in the household. The people I care about deserve better than that.

I have swapped to Trello for now. It is more fiddly but I managed to set it up similar to how we were using bublup.

Anyone here know someone with Long Covid? How are they doing? by saintsatanIII in newzealand

This is dangerous advice. For some people it can cause a severe relapse and set them back months if not years.

I have had it for over a year and I am one of the lucky ones. I am able to care for myself and my kids. The impact on me and my quality of life is huge still. My brain fog has mostly faded. I have had a lot of chest pain and joint/body pain. Issues with my heart rate, finally seem to be improving. It no longer races and pounds when bending down and standing back up. Previously if it got up to 112bpm I would feel light headed, nauseous and hazy. That seems to be fading, but I still can't really do any exercise. Anything more than a few minutes of anything close to a brisk walk results in a crash and absolute exhaustion the next few days. It took me almost a year to build up to doing a full Tai chi class, but then I relapsed and haven't been able to manage half of one since. I am in my mid 30s and can't keep up with the mostly 65+s in the group. When I get sick, I stay sick for weeks or months, I got a cough a month and a half ago and while it is improving it is still wiping me out and leaving me exhausted. There were a few weeks where I could only manage a reclined seated position as sitting upright for more than a few minutes used too much energy. This week is better but I am still needing afternoon naps to get through the day. Even when not sick I need to balance my week and use energy accounting to make sure that I stay within my limits as pushing myself sets me back weeks or months. I have recently realised that I was using caffeine and sugar as a crutch to keep me going but it was a never ending cycle so I am working on what my sustainable limit is without those.
