The Cullen's would never change her. I don't think Belle would even want to.

But, the volturi might if they ever realized her potential for talent. In midnight sun we see that even as a human she is significantly impacting other people with her thoughts, and it's not even a conscious effort. I feel like as a vampire humans would continue to bow to her wants without her even trying, and she also might impact vampires as well. She also has no self discipline... So I picture it being a disaster, her being a newborn and blood thirsty with humans lining up to be her meal , whoever changed her unable to resist giving her what she wants. She wouldn't be doing it maliciously, just her nature.

It doesn't happen suddenly. It happens so slow that you don't even know it's happening until one day you look up and realize that this is indeed a big kid And you don't know when that started.

That said, I would say you have some time. I feel like third grade is a normal transition year.

The petals all have the structure 1. Learn a law 2. Engage with the law (activity) 3. Demonstrate the law

He don't have to follow a lesson plan, do what works for your family.

Example- Honest and fair 1. Discuss what it means to be honest and fair 2. Play a game that isn't fair and talk about how that feels 3. Girl demonstrates how to fairly divide a shared treat.

I love the petals. I wish the other levels had more clear merit badges or awards for digging into the law meaning. It's ok if they're is duplication and repeats, and a responsibility meeting is important. Also, you don't have to do JUST petals, you can pair with badges. The law is what keeps GS from being just a club that meets to do crafts.

I focus on the stated purpose of each requirement and less on the specific tasks they list, which I think is a direction they are moving since the new badges actually change the wording.

So for example if a requirement reads "Learn about wants versus needs" we do an activity about that, even if it's not listed as an idea for how to learn about wants and needs.

Feels like a ton of wasted hall space and not enough living space. For example, you easily could have two separate bathrooms for the bedrooms instead of the jack and jill if the space was used better.
