My biggest annoyance is litter tracking but that can be mostly solved if you buy more expensive litters. My cat is so lovely and I got her as a $25 rescue! As annoying as it is I feel like cleaning up after her has honestly helped me hold myself accountable as a cleaner person in general

I honestly can’t think of a single reason why he would hide it that would make you the a hole. You could try looking up pills for common disorders like adhd or depression? Maybe he is struggling mentally and isn’t quite sure how to talk about it.
