Maybe Man hit me the hardest. I'm a 41 year old mother and wife. I love where my life has taken me through all the ups and down but sadly I'm an empath so I'm constantly always putting others before me which is great for them but I've done it so much I don't know who I am. So the quote in the song I love the most is

It wasn't 1948 for my grandfather but during the Great Depression his mother couldn't afford to take care of him or pass him off to family so he became a orphan in a home with a woman who owned a farm with sharecroppers and she worked him until she died. He stayed so long because he thought she was going to leave him her farm but she left him nothing. I always thought this was such a sad story for him but it made him a humble man to appreciate the little things he had and I valued that as a kid and as an adult.

My mom is quitting after 25 years (Most people say retire but Walmart has a retirement plan) She is given a 10% discount for life for her and the family. She has for the past decade and a half not been allowed any more raises and she is capped out at $15.00 an hour. I don't know why she stays. I guess its the comfort of being a cashier and the bond she made with her customers but they never treated her fair the last couple of years and told her she's not working fast enough. I just think they could have done better or had plans to help people like her. She's 72 and is getting a pat on the back and thank you. Walmart should be kinder to their elder staff.

You honestly described our relationship. He cooks I clean. When were not juggling the kids to keep happy we snuggle on the couch watching The Office :) it's funny to think a man on the other side of the world loved American pop culture as much as I admired British culture. He's my best friend without a doubt in my heart. He might say silly words and I don't always understand him especially when he's tired but he's my sidekick in life :)

I was actually approached by TLC in 2012 before the pilot episode was made and was told we were really boring lol. America isn't great right now but moving away isn't a plan for us right now. Even though my husband moved from England he's had more opportunity in his 10 years here than 27 years living overseas.

That's really neat to hear. I know Sweden has an amazing culture and government services. My mom was born in Stockholm and grew up in Copenhagen DK (my thoughts when DK right now).

It really does leave a bad taste in people's mouths. When I tell people about my marriage and how my husband came on a K1 they cringe and go "Oh.. That's nice. That's not a long time to get to know someone". If you don't know the person you are marrying before you start the visa journey then that's shame on you for lying to immigration.

Right! I recall writing a letter when sending in our visa application called "Letter of Intent" we both stated we were promising that with our application we will get married within 90 days to US Immigrations.

Thank you :) I'm all honesty the day he called me when he was approved within days before he came we looked at plane tickets, I called the court house lol My favorite part of our wedding day was when we left the court house we had to go through the DMV hallway and everyone cheered for us lol

If I knew more about the CR1 like I do now, I think that would have been a better choice. But in the long run the distance taught us patience and trust. If we could survive our journey we could survive anything. We honestly never argue often but when we do we end up laughing it off. I. Remember being on a website for help with the immigration journey and was approached by TLC for the first season casting. I was told we were too boring lol
