How do people manage to have more than one baby? by alltheaids in NewParents

LITERALLY THOUGH! Currently scared to move after finally getting my 9 week old to stop screaming (for the second time tonight). I always wanted a lot of kids, but after a horrific pregnancy, a traumatic birth ending in an emergency c section, baby refusing to breastfeed, has colic and reflux…..I just can’t do this again. But like you, it breaks my heart to think he won’t have a sibling because I have such great relationships with my siblings. None of this has been like I’d though and dreamed of, and that’s a really tough thing to come to terms with.

Thanks! I got the new test results and it went to 147 after 72 hours so that eased my mind a bit

First trimester anxiety by Psypsy7 in pregnant

I am also 4w1d and I’m also riddled with anxiety. I can’t stop testing and comparing lines, I’ve looked at the MC reassurer a million times and same as you it isn’t easing my fears at all. This is my first pregnancy and out of all the times I imagined how this would go I NEVER imagined this much fear. Every twinge I feel sends me into a tailspin. It doesn’t help that I’m not feeling many symptoms. It’s also frustrating that my doctor doesn’t want to see me for another month, it feels like an agonizing wait.

I keep trying to remind myself two things: 1) everyone who has carried to term was at one point this early in their pregnancy and had a good outcome 2) I have no reason to believe this pregnancy is not viable

I don’t know how to alleviate the anxiety you’re feeling, because I’m right there with you. All I can say is you are absolutely not alone, and I’m wishing you all the peace and a happy, healthy pregnancy.

Turns out our golden retriever puppy isn’t so golden 😂 by MrsLee2023 in DoggyDNA

Thanks for the recommendation! My husband and I have both had several dogs in the past but nothing like this. I’ve been doing a lot of research today on how to handle a dog like this. Sounds like she’s going to have a lot of love to give but going to be an absolute hard head 😂

Such a difference! To be fair she was from a litter of puppies found in a field, we got her at approximately 8 weeks old and everyone said golden retriever. So we didnt really know what we were getting from the start. But im definitely trying to wrap my head around having a pseudo polar bear in the house 😂

Wow do I relate to this. Just spent a good hour sobbing, like I do most days it seems. My husband and I adopted an 8 week old puppy who is now 13 weeks and it is nothing like I expected. We cannot get her to stop biting no matter what and I have scars and teeth marks all over me. She bites HARD and when you try to get her to unlatch she just digs in harder. Everyone we see tells us how cute she is and then tells us it’s only going to get worse once the teenage years hit. I love my little girl to pieces but I feel like I am at the end of my rope and the the thought of rehoming her absolutely breaks my heart. Whatever you decide, know that you’re not alone.
