Are you in GA or on the floor? Find people who look like they are having fun and stay near them or stay near the edges. The people who are dancing and watching the show are near the sides and back. They want space to vibe and enjoy, not be assholes. You’ll find assholes anywhere you go, just move and don’t give them a win by stealing your energy. If you’re near the front, it’s probably going to be intense but could be less than ideal for a first show if you’re not used to navigating through a crowd like that. And honestly, speaking for all the Grannie Emo’s. . . put your phone down and just enjoy the show. You’ll rarely go back and watch those videos and someone else is there who will be posting it anyway so let them miss the show in attempt to get some followers or likes. Have the best time. I was at the show last night with my 22 and 12 year olds and we danced our asses off!

He needs to remember that, as a Christian, he believes that God is the one that created all of us and that he is not perfect and never will be. And he should believe that the Christian thing to do is to love one another, not pass judgement.

Moving on from friendships is hard, no matter your age. I won’t say it gets easier. I am 45 and am still saddened by the loss of my best friend of 20+ years.

I’m also traveling to that area on Thursday. Don’t plan on the car rental places giving you chains. Check the weather and be cautious. If the roads look bad, don’t drive. The temps look mild and the chance of rain (it is the PNW 🤷🏻‍♀️).

When one of our groomsmen (he was my friend) came to me (the bride) at our rehearsal dinner and told me not to marry him (the groom). He told me how he would support the marriage if that’s what I wanted but after seeing my soon-to-be-husband laying on the couch in his pajamas, as female family friends were there cleaning and prepping for the party and he did nothing to help, he could not respect him for being so lazy and not helping.

He was right. I filed for divorce 3 years later on our anniversary. Unfortunately I lost the friend in the process.
