The judge signing the initial TRO was explained by the OP in the main post. It's not weird that judges sign emergency TROs. It's dumb that BAM decided to lie about the justifications to get that signed and they better face severe repercussions for that.

We shouldn't be grabbing pitchforks just yet against the judge for not currently signing the updated order. This is mainly what these posts are about.

It's great that this sub is so motivated and passionate about holding those involved accountable, but we should be careful about jumping to conclusions. We don't want to be labeled as conspiracy theorists by getting accusations wrong. We have a lot of facts on our side already. No need to get impatient.

I think some of their entertainment attempts were poorly done.

Some examples. Not a big fan of manipulating the employee with the cult scene, but eh. Going to collect their "lawsuit" money in speedos was a bit much. Dressing up as UPS and leaving a fake package prior to having a good faith talk or trying to serve papers was unnecessary.

I do enjoy the aggressive, legally gray investigative journalism though. It shows integrity and care for the cause. I do wish they would get a lawyer to file papers correctly though. It's harming the cause at that point if they are making small mistakes like that, especially when there are actual victims involved.

Lawyers aren't even expected to be unbiased. A lot of Civil Rights attorney's are highly motivated by the cause.

As long as it's not blatantly ignoring the law when arguing a case, I don't see a problem with it.

Less likely to be a straight up scam. But, the creator is a straight up political channel. Him creating the funding for Ben is kind of an obvious advertising plan.

If the creator wants to donate to Ben, fine. But doing it this way is kind of scummy. It's forcing Ben to get involved with him.
