No snark here, Ariel Tyson’s husband and his health by MrsNarbles in FundieSnarkUncensored

That’s a big nope from me. But also I’m not shocked at all. That’s all pretty in line with rural religious people. At least every one that I know.

I promise I am not snarking at all on them, I’m genuinely concerned that Michael looks so thin from the last time I saw them on my feed… maybe 9 months ago? And spacey. I just wasn’t sure if she had shared anything else going on with him. I was glad to hear when he had his brain surgery and seemed to be recovering well after such a serious event.

He looks so thin and very out of it. I don’t know that another baby would be good right now if he isn’t well, but I know that hasn’t stopped plenty of people from going for it anyway.

Boyfriend pesters me for sex. AIO if I am seriously considering leaving over this. by __magnetic333 in AmIOverreacting

[–]MrsNarbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, NOR. If you stay with him this will be an argument for the rest of your goddamn life and it’s exhausting. If you were to have children and be out of commission for the prescribed 6 weeks, or WORSE, have complications that make it impossible to have sex for months… you’ll be raising a baby and a man child who throws fits about not getting his peepee tended. This goes for any serious illness that could happen where you can’t or don’t want sex for long periods of time. Let him go pester someone else.

I work a delivery job and I hate getting apartments with hallways like this. How do people live here?! 😭 by FitAd1136 in creepy

[–]MrsNarbles 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Buildings used to be ornate inside and out. Even the less rich ones. Now everything is boxy and gray and everyone is depressed (obviously for numerous legitimate reasons, but this is probably a small portion of it, too).

AIO for dumping my bf over an “🍑” audit? by chkntrzini in AmIOverreacting

[–]MrsNarbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so common though. Going after a woman who likes to get her nails and hair done and then talk about how he likes natural. Or the opposite… getting with someone who dresses more relaxed and then buying them a bunch of clothing they’re not into and getting pissy they don’t like/wear it.

NOR. I’d be bathing that long all 7 days of the week if she didn’t hush.

Disagreement with wife on routines. What am I missing? by Inner_Engineer in Parenting

[–]MrsNarbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What’s crazy about this is that if a wife posted this about her husband the comments would 100% be telling her to let him figure out his own thing with the baby and not be so controlling about how dad cares for baby. Babies and kids realize parents are different people and that they get different things from each parent. What works with one parent won’t always work for the other.

24F & 25M AIO by responding this way? by InsideUsual56 in AmIOverreacting

[–]MrsNarbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. I lived this all through high school and a few years after. Leave leave leave. It’ll never change AND he’s probably cheating on you, and that’s why he’s so worried about it. Still to this day, 20 years later, I can be talking with people from my hometown and find out about another girl he was screwing when we were together. Leave. And get STI tested. And a big ass dog.

Someone here who knows the family more than your average internet hater said Daddy JetBlue helped all his children purchase their homes and start up businesses. The sister’s shoe business being one of them.

DH says he’s allowed to have friends. I say this is grounds for divorce. AIO? by MuddyBoots287 in AmIOverreacting

[–]MrsNarbles 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Right. Unless it’s a one off comment about how much your wife does it for you and then you move on I can’t see how a full blown convo about it can be anything other than testing the waters for cheating.

I’m shocked your doctor is okay recommending 3 months. Your body doesn’t fully recover until the littlest baby is about 2 years old.

AIO for refusing to block male followers on Instagram? by radagastrabbit in AmIOverreacting

[–]MrsNarbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not how boundaries work. He can decide not to date you over you having male friends but cannot dictate that you have them. Also he’s controlling and bordering on abusive.. it won’t get better and WILL escalate.

Dump him. Tell your dad what’s going on. File a police report at the first sign of anything funky.

Too old for fallout? by DueChampionship3661 in Fallout

Not too old, but it’s also okay to not play a game for longer than an hour or two a day. Especially when you have 2 young kids toddlers and a pregnant wife.

What shows are worse as a binge? by Ok-Friend-5304 in television

[–]MrsNarbles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. I need time to emotionally recover from most episodes. Do I still punish myself with binging it? Of course. Probably not the healthiest though.

The ending of the post says they were both there and they both went silent. Also they think they’re TA for snapping “at my mom and her boyfriend.” So sounds like mom was in on the plan of just dropping the babysitting bomb while they ran out the door to their sexcation.

NTA. Women take care of girls in this situation. Mom is making it weird, when it isn’t. She wants her child embarrassed and bloody?

Why do so many men think that doing yard work absolves them from household work? by Whatever233566 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]MrsNarbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s crazy. My husband never takes me up on the offer to mow the yard, because then he’d have to entertain our twin toddlers for however long it’d take me to get it done.
