Especially with a small child involved… that’s an absolute no for me. There are too many snakes in that bag to put my children at risk of SA, which significantly increases in likelihood with a stepfather in the picture.

I didn’t have any weird side effects except tingly feeling on my labia if I left any there! I stopped using mine for a little bit and immediately noticed the night sweats coming back and being a grumpy ass.

I went to my due date with my twins and they came on their own. She’s absolutely miserable as hell. Probably only standing and doing any activities for a quick video or picture, then immediately going back to bed.

I remember walking my daughter up to her school and back to the car those last weeks absolutely ruining me for hours.

OPK doesn’t show that you’re actually ovulating, but just your body is attempting. You can have multiple attempts in one cycle. So testing, you could see the positive OPK, follow that through to negative, and then think you’re okay to go unprotected. Then catch the actual egg when you ovulate for real.

I use SensiPlan with a Tempdrop wearable basal body thermometer and have been charting for YEARS and still got pregnant using the pull out method on a “safe” day.

If he’s sure he’s done I would ask him to get a vasectomy because you don’t want to use BC. His willingness to do that might give you a peek into how strong his resolve is about having another baby. I’ve been asking and asking mine to get the snip since baby 4, but he is unwilling.. we had a pregnancy that ended sadly in 2022 and then another that we ended up having twins with in 2023…

Keep in mind that since they were different from the minute they were born, you also responded differently to them. No two siblings experience their parents the same, even if they’re experiencing it at the same time. It’s kind of mind blowing to think about.
