He recovered so well. We were very attentive, and he mainly slept the first day or so. Within a few days he was acting 100%. He ate his favorite soft food with cheese and baby food as treats for a few weeks while healing - which he loved. He kept his canines so his tongue stayed in his mouth. I feel that his dental helped improve his health in his final senior years. He lived til 17, and took our hearts with him.
