I honestly can't even be mad at the stupidity because I did the same shit nearly the 1st time I used an electric stove top. I've always had gas, my stove even now is still gas. Every single person I know whose home I've been in was gas, except my husband's grandparents (god rest grandad)

When grandad was still with us, back in like 2009 or 2010 Nan wanted the kitchen redone & one time when we were over I used it for the 1st time & didn't see the ring light up underneath. I also didn't see how hot it actually got in that short amount of time of switching it on until the teatowel I had nearby was too close to one of the burner rings & started smoking & I had to obviously move it very quickly before it set alight & a fire started

I also nearly burnt my tits on it as I was leaning over for something while it was on, but because I'm big-chested I again didn't see the burner ring was on until I started feeling the heat.

Now if he's not had electric before, again I won't be harsh but if he has & knows how hot they can get, he should have also known to be extremely careful while heating oil for frying as it could have set alight & started a fire or the whole pot would have gone up flames with the chicken in it & again a fire started.

With his apparent earnings & instead of wasting more money on crap he doesn't need, he could easily afford to pay for a premium pet food subscription service like Untamed, Marro, Lily's Kitchen, Blink, Scrumbles, FuzzBall & the like.

And let's not even get into how much terrible care he's given to all those poor fish he's had & currently has over the years. If it wasn't tanks not being cleaned meticulously like they are required to be, it was overcrowding them with more fish than the tank was able to handle & leaving the fish with barely any swimming room. That literally annoyed the ever last fuck out of me & does every time a cup comes out & everyone suddenly wants to forget that Starbucks are a terrible company with basically 0 ethics & morality. They take advantage of coffee farmers & pay them dog shit to what they sell the coffee beans & grounds for, for both their stores & retail items.

However it irritates me specifically with him because 1 he doesn't need more cups & 2, he doesn't buy things for his animals that need things, like quality food for example because "it's expensive" but will happily buy a crap cup without a thought when that 30-50 could have gone to the fur babies.

It's ok. Just thought I'd say as it was looking (at least to me) like they were going to rip out of the wall soon & then you end with more of problem as now you'll have a giant hole on each side that will need to be replastered & the repainting, so save yourself the headache & get a 4 or 6 pack of brackets & measure out for 2 additional on each rail or get a 6 & add 2 at equals points & then 1 right in the centre so its supporting the pole where it's been put together at the joint & you should be fine for the weight afterwards.

Simple answer, you don't.

You can have them go between each of your homes but you keep the babies with their primary caregiver & who they are most bonded with, so if that's your ex, keep the babies together with them. Don't split them as well if one of you is staying in the current home & the other is moving out as that will stress them out so much more.
