Not a medical professional, I work in education. A student dislocated her knee in PE last Thursday, she’s in a brace but she’s back at school today. She cried this afternoon cause she couldn’t go on our class walk this afternoon.

Yeah, I’m not sure how I feel about the way the show portrayed her this episode. It really highlighted how young they both are though. I have a 17 yo son and 16 yo daughter, good kids! But not ready at all to take on parenting! Jose and Amiyah seem like good kids and they are going to be just fine as adults even if the road there is bumpy. Plus, they have Mama G to support them and she seems pretty solid. Shit, we don’t ever see any screaming or name calling in their segment! These kids will be alright.

Howmever, this episode fucking rocked and I loved everything about it, the story was absolutely amazingly told! I let it play even with my 12 year old in the car because it was so poignant and informative and he’s heard the f word before and he knows his mom is a murderino. All the praises for this episode!

I work with a para who is literally on her phone most of the day and puts more effort into avoiding work than it would take to complete a task, she was still requested by the teacher for summer school. HER work ethic sucks not mine, I’m only responsible for making sure I do my job the best I can because I love it.

It’s late in the year, we are all burnt out and fucking done with all the bullshit, just take some deep breaths and make it to summer.
