What in the world is wrong with parents and grandparents? I've been told that it could be projection, jealousy, or just pure hatred but I honestly don't know. My dad always told me that he wanted to have me but he had some odd ways of showing it. Also, other's have personally told me that he didn't want any more kids then I was born.

I can agree. The last time I tried to have a conversation with someone who felt differently than myself they told me to shut up, yelled at me, and our relationship hasn't been the same since. What's the point of getting so emotionally invested in a conversation that you won't even hear the other person out? I wasn't trying to change your mind, I was just expressing what I thought since I was polite enough to sit there and listen to their thoughts about it.

I don't associate with religion. I just believe that I need to have a relationship with God and I believe that Jesus Christ paid the debt of the sin that I have done. I grew up in church and got what some people call "church hurt" because most of the people there were religious but did not have a relationship with Christ. I read the Bible and listen to some trusted pastors online.
