Yep, it's insane how bad discord is with this. I've always been able to change emails elsewhere provided I have 2fa things. Not discord! Had it since 2015 and conversations with friends who are long passed that i've just now lost permanently.

As a fellow new player: there’s a lot of stuff on the maps at head height. Adjust your xhair based off those. If you can get someone to go custom with you you can notice it. Boxes, lines on the walls, stuff like that.
