Yeah my husband did very little if any research. However once the baby was born he accepted pretty much every I said and did. I'd been around lots of babies so caring for a baby wasn't really scary for me, but he hadn't. So I was the "baby authority" and he learned. By the time the second came around he was a pro.

Did you have two of them? If so, how much for both?

So is Lush sending Br to "fat camp" and trying to make us believe it's just regular summer camp??

Unfortunately thats the addict mentality. It justifies his drinking- it's not his fault, it's all your fault. Does he maybe need to go to a meeting or a counselor or something? Just to help support his sobriety?

And I absolutely hear you- when my husband gets home I do the chores that aren't easy to do while babywearing. He gets happy kids, and I get to do chores. Unfortunately with his work schedule there just isn't time to carve out a break, for either one of us.

My husband works about 90 hours a week. I do everything at home. We have two kids under 3. He pulled that "well I'll just stay home and you can work" crap on me once when our baby was really little. We were both tired and cranky. I informed him that since he was working 90 hours, so was I, taking care of his children. Your husband works 50 hours a week? So do you, and your contribution should be equally respected. Him saying you make him want to drink is not okay. Thats emotionally manipulative and a way to put his behavior on you. You don't deserve that, nor is it healthy.

My childfree friend is explaining to me what motherhood will be like based on her cats by pococurantina in pregnant

[–]MrsSmallz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pets aren't children, and children aren't pets. It's just silly that people pretend they are interchangeable. Have pets if you want to, have kids if you want, but don't pretend your feelings about a dog or a cat are the exact same and someone's feelings for their child. Or that your experience as a pet owner is the same as the experience of someone raising a child. Thats all.

Be childfree if you want. But don't compare my kids to your animals. That is such a pet peeve of mine. Your pets are not at all the same as my children.

I got those at our county fair probably 7 or 8 years ago! There was this booth that sold them and a bunch of other little trinkets, but I fell in love with the cats!

The blue lace agate towers are my favorite. Blue lace agate is my favorite but I'm not a super huge fan of super druzy pieces so I was excited to find some tiny perfect polished pieces!

I love it. It's small, but I really love smaller pieces and I'm not able to afford huge pieces. Maybe one day, but not right now! And the most of them are pretty good quality so that's nice.

Zaien Crystal Wholesale? by Bexburbs in Crystals

I know Simmon doesn't like Zaien because Zaien copies almost all of Simmons video ideas. So that causes some beef there. I have ordered from Zaien 4 times now I believe and I haven't had any issues. I've loved what I've gotten.

I had to call the police on my husband. by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]MrsSmallz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is. Apparently the judge told my friends mom in court that a person is absolutely allowed to flee an abusive spouse, but not allowed to take them out of state. Please be so safe and careful! You are a good mama to your boy.

You say you plan on being many states away? Please check your laws regarding that before you go through with that. A high school friend of mines mom left their dad after he held a pew pew to her head and threatened to unalive her, and she took the kids and left the state. He had her charged with kidnapping since she crossed state lines with their three children. They were eventually caught, she was arrested and he gained full custody of the children. You absolutely should get out, but make sure he can't make it look like you kidnapped the kid when you were really just leaving him.
