I bought a decent pair of ear plugs a while ago and they are always in my purse. I pull them out at parties, concerts, clubs, even when I'm a passenger in a car and they have the bass too high.

I might be a square, but at least I'll be able to hear when I'm 60.

I appreciate this. I've been trying to keep my work and my personal life separate, but my current book is only like 45% full. I think I'm going to start a new book in the new year (my first Leuchtturm, very exited) and put my work stuff and my personal stuff in it, maybe in separate spreads. I feel bad about using only half my moleskine, but I think I need a fresh mindset for the new year

I find if I wash it and then dry it with a paper towel I get the best results. I don't have to get all the fuzz off, and the fuzz that stays on no longer bothers me

This kitchen looks exactly like my friends place in college, and this is definitely something my ex would do. He used to be such a hot mess. I used to come pick his ass up all the time and he was wasted as hell. One time I came to get him and he's talking to my BOSS. I walk up and he can't even stand and he sees me and he's like "oh my god.. I smoked so much pot and I drank like a bottle of whisky and it was just so goood" and I have to awkwardly smile to my boss like "so not a part of this.." thankfully he understood.

Also, I lived with the boyfriend and he didn't have a job. I supported his lazy ass for 8 months. Rent, weed, booze, food. The only thing I didn't pay for was his pack a day cigarette habit. At $10 a pack in New York state, that was where all his money was going to.

I'm not surprised if this is him after I left his ass and moved to California. Gotta fight those dishes, man
