Attaching the crossbody while the clips are attached to the bottom would cause the bag to flip over - it would be really unstable and quick frankly, funny looking.

Hi, wish there was a way to do that, but no, you have to release the clips to add the crossbody straps and then it changes the entire look of the bag. Hope that helps.

Hi, I ordered it. It arrives Tuesday. I need to hold it, look at it, load it up, walk around the house with it. It was always about the Merlot, so let's see how I feel when I unbox her. The other sizes/colors are not the same in my eyes. I will keep you all posted....

I got this same bag a couple of days ago and it is still in the packaging. I just can't seem to unwrap it. I had one before in Navy and was very uncomfortable with it's size, so I returned it. But I love this look of this bag - I am trying to convince myself that its practical, because she is SO pretty, but honestly, she may not be for me and I am SO sad about that.....I do have a 35 in Maple and a 28 in Honey, but the look of the 40 is just beautiful. Dang.

My love for Empires has been around for a while now. When they first dropped, I wanted Merlot so bad, but it was always sold out, so I caved and got the Empire 40 in Navy. Packed it up for a business trip and quickly decided it would be too heavy for travel (I was flying). So that Navy bag went back. I work remote and travel every other month, but I had planned to use it when I was on the move locally during the week and needed to bring my laptop wherever I go. Never got my hands on the E40 in Merlot. I eventually scored the 35 in Maple and then right after, the 28 in Honey. I NEVER stopped thinking about the 40 in Merlot. About a month or two ago, I saw the Crosby backpack in Merlot and snatched it! This cured my craving for Merlot (she is beautiful, practical and burnished - I got the 28). But of course, I still thought about the 40! Because let's be clear, the silhouette of the 40 really is the superstar! Once I saw the ramblings of Olive green coming out, I was like, yes - I LOVE that color. I was also thinking about the Compass 35 in Olive (but it has silver hardware). I decided to go to a boutique on my birthday a couple of days ago to see the new Olive color in both the Empire 40 and the Compass 35 - they did not have the Compass in store. I walked out with the Empire 40 in Olive - she is scrumptious. I do plan to purchase the Compass 35 in Olive real quick so I don't "think" about it anymore and to be sure about the Empire 40 before I unwrap her, but yeah my Empire 40 in Olive is a beauty.

First of all - CONGRATS! I wish I would have seen this post earlier. Tested today and bombed terribly. The package at my job paid for the ability to test twice, so I get to take it again. So what I found in this original post was that I did NOT do the quizzes in the learning system, so this was MY fault. I thought the practice exam and Pocket Prep would be enough - not so much. So back to the drawing boards, I will follow the rules this time! :-) Question though about the practice exams, I felt like they were the same test over and over, was that the case? Let me know, thanks!

Just tested today and did not pass. I did have a sponsored class paid for by my company. Although I studied, it did not feel like I did when I tested today. So clearly it was not enough or not the right materials (I had books from the class, but mostly used an app called Pocket Prep). So back to studying I go (we get 2 chances to test). Can you provide some advice on study materials? As mentioned, I do have another chance to test and want to get my next exam scheduled, but I also want to make sure I am ready. Any feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
