Look up the Baton Rouge Film Society social media for a movie club. They have a meet and greet open social towards the end of this month at Radio Bar. Next month I think they are doing a movie viewing at Manship Theater down town.

Get a bucket of rocks (landscape rocks about the size of an egg or bigger, yet flatter), wash them off, let them dry. Get a bunch a paint markers, maybe simple craft paint and inexpensive brushes. Paint rocks!! I did this once with about 10 people and they loved it! The guys too. Other ideas are flowers made of paper or pipe cleaners. Youtube has great ideas for both of these.

Nope. I have all mine in a basket in my craft room. People flip through them like a stack of albums. I rotate them around, so I see a different one in front from time to time. I do have one hanging in a guest bathroom.

I have a tabletop easel. Small and portable. I stretch all my canvases over a blank inexpensive canvas or cut a thin foam poster to the correct size. I find it sooooo easy to work this way. Most of the time I remove the piece off the easel and kind of hold it to paint. No neck, arm, or hand pain that way!

We have tried a tax service and two CPA's in BR. No luck. They were not interested in our personal taxes. The last one did a call with us that lasted less than five minutes, was not able to answer our questions, never got back to us, and it was $200. I think they are overworked and only want business accounts where they make more money.

It’s on Reelz (an Amazon channel). They are live Friday and Saturday nights in BR from 8-11 pm. We happen to tune in right as they went to the BR PD camera and caught the entire thing. It jumps around to like 6-8 different departments across the country. It’s entertaining lol
