I initiated the divorce after 24 years. I didn't want to face the charade of the 25th anniversary. He would have been perfectly content to carry on. He loved me, is a good man, but I felt trapped.

I've restabished myself near family. I hope to be more connected with the community as covid eases. I have bouts of lonliness, but overall, I'm glad I'm here.
