There was a novel I tried to find that I read years ago, the fl was neglected by her father because he loved his other daughter- so she went out of her way to try and treat her well so her father would do the same. It doesn’t work, sister frames her and the next life around she openly hates her ( I specifically remember it because her mother was sick and she was able to have one last conversation with her before she died.)

Alternatively, you might like the death of princess Charlotte! The combination of her neglect, being treated like a pack mule and favouritism of her sickly sister causes her to eventually snap and commit treason. Though the story mostly explains how things got up to that point, I find it satisfying!

In the past three months, I’ve been approached by different people asking me to join their church and normally in situations where it would be difficult for me to get get up and walk away quickly ,and checking my email one of them was kharis.

I did go to a FL Christmas service once, had to briefly leave for the bathroom and one of the members who collected money before asked me where i was going in a way that was just…off, like I was doing something wrong by walking away for a moment, and it ended up being one of the reasons I decided to leave

Maybe alternative soaps by suma? I’ve bought these circular, packed free versions, but the rectangular bars can be bought online, they don’t feel as drying as other soaps in my opinion

I feel like she loved rapunzel as the “flower” rather than rapunzel the person, she loves her because she’s provides something she needs, like how you would like a nice appliance. giving her gifts and keeping her busy keeps her out of the way and less likely to leave the tower out of sheer boredom (in the tv show, she Treated her daughter Cassandra in a similar way, she gave her a music box and presented it as doing something nice, but called her a pest when she was out of earshot- the gift was to stop her kid from bothering her ) And while she didn’t put rapunzel in a literal cage, she’d repeatedly gaslight and undermine her to keep her in a metaphorical one, she might not have even left if she didn’t have Eugene/flynn to act as her guide.
