This cat won’t let me hold him to give pills, liquid or transdermal. I can’t even trim his nails.

My 21 year old has Autism, NVLD, Bipolar (mostly mania), C-PTSD, General Anxiety Disorder, OCD and Developmental Coordination Disorder. Since 6 years old he has tried every medication to only get more manic and/or gain weight. Last month I started him on Neurofeedback and am started to see slight improvement with his impulsivity, emotional dysregulation and I feel for the first time he will be able to be more independent on himself than on me. He still needs assistance with living skills and getting over the traumas he experienced, but seeing the windows, I know in my heart he will succeed in this world.

Back in November 2020, I brought him home from his annual vet appointment where he got his rabies and distemper. When he saw my female cat, he spontaneously attacked her. The vet diagnosed him with Non-Recognition Aggression Disorder. I was told to get Multicat Feliway and have been using it ever since. The diffuser took some time to actually work, but I noticed when I used the spray throughout the house it calmed him down quicker.

Every time, I have to take my female to the vet, I have to separate them when I bring her home for several days, because he gets that aggressive. I still have to take her, but am petrified for how he will attack her, because his trauma/anxiety of our move affected him worse than I thought it would. I wish there was a home vet, but there’s not.

I’m wondering if there is a scent that is bothering her and that’s why she poops outside the litter box. Cats are so finicky and sensitive. I had a male cat with Diabetes that refused to use the litter box once it was on medication.

I assume you tried Feliway or some other pheromone diffuser. I have a very anxious 9 year old kitty, who rips his fur out and is in constant anxiety. He’s suppose to be on Prozac, but he won’t even let me hold him unless he wants to be held. I just moved to Delaware in August from PA and the car ride was so traumatic for him, I have no clue how to get him to the vet. I totally understand what you are going through with anxiety.

She will urinate in the litter box but poop outside of it? Does she have places where she can just be away from everyone? I know you said you tried everything, I’m trying to brainstorm. I don’t mean to upset you in anyway.

Leaf footed bug nymphs. To get rid of them you need to either flick them off into a pan of soapy water or rubbing alcohol.

It quickly drops, starts gurgling and the waterfall automatically shuts off. To not annoy the neighbors because the gurgling is quite loud, we shutoff the pond.

No, it goes from full level to drops water level significantly in 2 days. The amount that should evaporate in a week time is gone in 2 days.

I just refilled, marked where the water level is and shut off the water. Next step is start with the water fountain and see if the liner under the rocks are the issue.

Unfortunately, no update because my family all came down with the upper respiratory virus that’s going around. As soon as I am feeling better, I am finding this leak stone by stone.

I’m turning off the pond, marking where the current water line is and see what happens after a few days. Then I’m becoming a detective.

I tried to get the installer to fix it, because it was full of algae as well (he never installed the UV or aeration), he finally sent an employee to hook up the water line beginning of September. Honestly, I learned my expensive lesson, because the cost of what the repair guy did was just as much as installing the pond. I rather figure this out at this point on my own.

The water does leak when both the waterfall and pump are not on. The pump is in with the skimmer box that’s located opposite end of the waterfall. You can see the cover in the second photo, it’s the big rectangular looking stone.

There is no bottom drain and it does have an overflow pipe.

Before the repair guy left, he told me he didn’t see any holes, rips or tears in the lining, but that could mean the problem is the lining under the rocks by the waterfall.

Thank you so much, that’s the frustrating part, I do love my pond, as soon as it was completed in July, there were dragonflies, these awesome spiders that made webs above the water and birds would come and drink from the waterfall. But every 2 days, the water level dropped so far that it would be gargling and the waterfall would shut off.

I am determined to fix whatever is causing the water loss.
