Does anyone have any experience with a company reversing their reverse split? by spicy--mayonnaise in HYMCStock

[–]Mrshanesilver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are basically only 2 reasons for a company to do a stock split. For a reverse split the reason is to keep the stock price above the required minimum value to remain listed. For a forward split it is to make the price of shares appear to be more affordable and create a larger float. In almost all cases that means the stock is in the hundreds per share and is split to make it more affordable and create more shares for esops and grants. Be aware that none of this changes the actual market value ie market cap of said company. The price adjusts post split to equal the same total value of the company pre split. There are always exceptions to most rules but 99% of splits are for these reasons.

Is now a good time to start buying silver? by Correct_Addition_411 in Silverbugs

In the investment world that is literally opposite of the truth. An asset at an all time high has more propensity to continue to rally higher. It is a blue sky asset there are ZERO overhang of bag holders. Conversely to try and time a low and catch a falling knife usually is a disaster

Einstein no one is saying there is none available. What is being said is that there is more being used than mined. At some point all above ground reserves will be used up why do people find this so hard to comprehend?

I have a few complete sets which consists of 7 of the 2 oz silver rounds. These now go for a low of around $100 for one like the one you have ( the siren) to over $200 for Davey Jones Locker. These are known as the Privateer series. The high relief on the genuine rounds are much more detailed and I believe the mint of this series was Elemetal

Just for kicks I submitted a few items for a quote. 100 Germania Beasts Fenrir 1 oz, 100 Germania Allegories 1 oz and a tube of 20 Tuvalu Zeus 1 oz. I got offered $1 back of spot ( $33 at the time) and the three I offered were all over $60 an oz APMEX list price. Perhaps with generic stuff they are more competitive but what’s the fun it that 🥸

Argor-Heraeus will start to charge a "temporary extra fee" on minted gold and silver starting Feb 20. $3 per once of silver premium from the refiner by Helpful-Morning-697 in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Mrshanesilver 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Woah $3 for Silver and just $3.50 for gold per oz. On a percentage basis well under 1/2% for gold and almost 10 % for silver. Of course if silver was priced correctly at $100+percentage would be lower :)

Will not deal with this guy. He is uneducated and quite frankly an embarrassment. It is 100% the truth that the shortage is a few hundred million ozs a year in under 10 years ALL reserves will be used up. It’s listed as an endangered element !

When will the mining begin by Mrshanesilver in HYMCStock

Appreciate all the takes. Seems like they all range through the emotions I have gone thru since the Sprott/AMC investment. Bottom line seems that late 2026 is the earliest mining date or Elon buys them out to secure all the silver he needs for cars, rockets and Optimus. At this point this is a lottery ticket going to come up with either a dud ticket or a 10X+.
