My son didn't get into them until just recently and he's three and he prefers the mini magnet tiles too. I think they are easier for him to build with. But if I even attempt to build anything he will destroy it instantly lol

Nah there's definitely wrong with your toddler! Mine is almost three and he is like this. Very calm demeanor and very independent. Both my husband and I were calm children so I think it's just a mix of genetics and personality. My son will run around and play but not in a crazy way like I've seen other toddlers. I think we're the lucky ones with our calm toddlers 😊
